I’d asked for one of the beds to be made into a double. This was too much trouble. On arrival i moved the bed and a dirty nappy, screws and crumbs fell out. I text the manager and while he offered to send someone over i still haven’t received an apology. I put the nappy in the bin and asked someone come over to clean again in the morning. This did happen but they literally just hoovered the screws and crumbs. There were still bits of rubbish behind the bed including used cotton buds. They didn’t even empty the bin that contained the nappy. The bedding wasn’t clean, there were hairs in my bed, brown stains on one duvet and my daughter complained they smelt of egg. The actual duvets were yellowing and well used. The bathroom ceiling was mouldy, the kitchen had an underlying smell of damp or mould. I was worried about getting my security deposit back the whole stay due to the amount of stains, marks, holes, drawings on the floors, walls and doors. Not sure how they keep track of what’s old and what’s new. We were woken up each morning (fri-sun) by noisy roofers and their radio. The skylights had no blinds so the only thing that obscured their view into a bedroom was the dirt and mould on the skylight. The place has masses of potential. A refresh, some paint and a deep clean would make this place brilliant. The cleaners obviously need to be allowed more time to turn them around. I wiped a lot of marks off the doors in 5 minutes.
