Wildwood Inn

We checked-in online from home. There is no staff at the hotel. We got there and hadn't received instructions. We called the support phone number. It took a whole 45 minutes on the phone with one person and the supervisor. We had to upload five pictures, use two different phone numbers, enter credit card once more (after doing so twice at home), and finally they told us the room number and the door code. Forty-five minutes during which we considered going elsewhere. It ruined my mood and I didn't sleep well. Which is a too bad because the place is nice.

Stayed at cabin #22. Nice place, clean place! Lots of room for my husband and I. 2 queen beds. Can sleep 5. ( one bed is a rollaway bed that is in the closet. ) Saw 2 male elk right on the property. Hot tub right in front of our cabin although we did not use it. Mountain view with a small outdoor table and 2 chairs to enjoy the view. Away from the bustle of the town but can get to it in less than 10 minutes plus just 2 minutes to RMNP entrance. Super Easy check in/out. Would definitely return!!

The people are very nice and accomodating. We were in building 23 which was huge, literally like a house, however when we arrived late on the first night, the private hot tub was not working, so I texted in the morning and someone came and tried to fix it by cleaning the filters but the braker kept flipping, so when I texted back they said it takes like 6 hours to heat up, honestly it should have been ready for us upon arrival since they knew our time of arrival, we booked this particular place because of the hot tub on the deck, in addition, the cleaning crew and supply closet is attached to the unit and it gets loud with lots of slams so you can't really relax in the kitchen and when you turn the heat completely off it still comes out of the old baseboard heaters. Otherwise the place is great, lots of space, a bit dated but I think that it's supposed to be "colorado rustic". The location is beautiful and there are elk everywhere, however it is very remote and a grocery store is nowhere to be found and we personally are not used to that, but it is a nice place, just those points I made, we would for sure stay here again but I would ask that the hot tub be ready ahead of time, otherwise you don't get to use it for your entire stay.

We loved the cabin we were in. Very comfortable and loved the complete kitchen. The views were fantastic and the wildlife a bonus. We went up for a relaxing weekend and it was. My only suggestion would be to put hand rails in the bathtub to make it easier to get out and maybe some of those stickies for bottom of the tub to make it less slippery. We plan on coming back up for News Years weekend.

Wildwood is wonderful! Clean, spacious and quiet. We had a beautiful suite with balcony and a lovely view in the back of the property. We heard the elk bugle in the morning and evening. We will definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous inn with stunning mountain views. By far, one of the most peaceful places we've ever visited. The location is perfect, practically right next to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In particular, the owner, Cindy, was beyond lovely to deal with and completely went out of her way to assist us with a personal matter when we were in a challenging situation. Thank you for helping us create an unforgettable experience!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.
