Ericeira Soul Guesthouse

We stayed here for 5 nights. Really beautiful place in a fantastic location. Right beside the beach, bars and restaurants. Room was great. Lovely, quiet and relaxing place with a nice pool and great coffee. We will 100% stay here again the next time we visit Ericeira

Ericeira itself came highly recommended but I lucked out finding this guesthouse. The rooms are comfortable, the common space beautiful, and the location ideal. What really set this place apart for me; however, were the people and the family story/connections behind the property itself. They arranged surf lessons for me, fed me a simple but delicious breakfast, and even helped me plan the rest of my Portugal trip. Andre, Catarina, and Luiza - thank you for making my time in Ericeira so special!

Where shall I start? Well from the moment you enter in their gorgeous reception/bar you will notice that this guesthouse is in another level from other ones. The warm welcome you get from the receptionist added to the welcome drink they give is another big plus. At this time, the receptionist (sorry I forgot your name!) besides checked you in , she also gives you all (and I mean ALL) information about the city, beaches, restaurants(amazing selection!) , how to move within the city etc… everything ! Our room was a huge triple room with enough space for the 3luggages we had and with a big toilet and nice shower. The room had everything we needed for our 4 night stay! The guesthouse has a nice pool to chill with a drink , which we did after the beach. Breakfast had everything we needed to a perfect start of the day: fruits, fresh juices, yogurt, excellent bread (try the potato one!), cheeses and ham. The guesthouse is so centrally located that car will not be needed for almost nothing( Praia do Sul and Pescadores is walking distance). Since we followed the hotel recommendations for beaches a bit more far away (Foz the Lizando and Ribeira das Ilhas) we just took an Uber (very cheap) with no problem whatsoever. I think is now obvious we loved this place and we will definitely come back on our next visit to Ericeira. And congrats to all the people working that make us feel like we were at our home!

This is the best guesthouse we have stayed in. Andre and all the staff were perfect hosts so friendly, helpful and professional and very proud of their beautifully refurbished house that had so much history. The rooms are stunning with large comfortable beds. On arrival we greeted with a glass of wine and provided with a map of the area with recommended family run eateries which were all excellent. We had a wonderful stay here This place is the soul of Ericeira for sure We will be back

This is the perfect guesthouse, reasonably priced, well located, charming and excellent service. It suits the relaxed vibe of the town perfectly and the linked surf school make it easy to book accommodation and surfing lessons at the same time. Breakfast is simple but delicious and generous. The rooms are simple but comfortable and I loved the historic feel of the building.
