Neagles Retreat Villas

It was one of the best accomodation we have stayed in. It was soooo spacious and the view was amazing. It was very well equiped and clean. The kitchen had everything one need eg coffee machine with supplied coffee pods, full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, oven and microwave. We stayed in a two room house and both rooms had an attached bathroom. It’s a 10mins drive to min street of Clare. It has a gas fire place and ducted heating and cooling. Feels like Home away from home. Wild go back there in a flash!

We recently stayed at Neagles Retreat Villas, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villas are beautifully appointed, with all the creature comforts you could wish for in a luxury accommodation. The views are simply spectacular and offer a true sense of immersion in the Clare Valley experience. Waking up to misty, foggy mornings that gradually revealed rows of grapevines and rolling hills in the background was magical. We even spotted kangaroos grazing right in front of our villa, adding to the genuine country escape feel. The villa itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The deep bath was perfect for soaking in after a day of exploring local wineries, and the shower pressure and temperature were spot on. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the seating areas were cosy and inviting. We ordered the breakfast box, which was fantastic—locally sourced, delicious, and generous in portion size, with a great variety of options. The complimentary wine was a lovely touch that added to the experience. The gas fireplace and ducted heating kept us warm and cosy, making it even more enjoyable. The booking process was seamless, with clear instructions, confirmations, and follow-up texts that were helpful and thorough. Aimee, our host, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated. Overall, Neagles Retreat Villas offers a beautiful and relaxing experience. It’s the perfect getaway to unwind, explore the Clare Valley, and enjoy the stunning scenery. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed it very much. The villa is very well appointed with spectacular views over the valley. Shops and restaurants are only a 5 minute drive away. We were lucky to visit in spring which made it even more special. On the downside a very noisy fridge which actually woke us up and I would have expected headboards on the beds.

I stayed in the disability villa. For those that need to extra bathroom facilities this was awesome. Very clean, modern and spacious. large balcony with outdoor setting which I was looking forward to relaxing on, but sadly it was not the weather.
