The main lobby is dark, hot and damp and smells like the pool we couldn't use. You have to press the buzzer at the front desk for service. The front desk employee comes immediately to help and is friendly and kind. The reason she's not there in the first place is because they have her washing and folding towels in the laundry room located directly behind the front desk. The carpets are dingy, stained and worn. The rooms are mostly clean but my mattress was so crushed when I sat on it, I sank as if the springs had collapsed. We had our room changed and it wasn't much better. The snack vending machines were full but out of order and the ice machines were out of order on all the floors except the first floor. The water fountains had out of order signs on them and the pool was closed " due to Covid 19" When I asked if they were still having Covid problems in this state, I was advised "no, we're just understaffed." If we weren't so exhausted after a 6 hour inter-state drive , we would have asked for a refund and found another hotel. The employees were wonderful and helpful The owner needs to wake up and invest some money in an upgrade or at least staff up and also fix what's broken.
