It's not a 5 star hotel by any means. The reason it has 5 stars is that the guy that checked us in was very nice and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and my husband said the shower had plenty of hot water. It had a gas station and dollar General just up the road. Walmart was less than 5 miles away. Very reasonably charged for the room. The only downside for us was that the pillows were small squares. I would definitely stay again with my own pillows.

Fort Knox and Army folks- DO NOT BOOK HERE. I am personally going to try and get this removed as an option from DTS. My room was INFESTED with flies. There were shady characters hanging around, and is definitely not a safe location. I checked out early due to the unsanitary and unsafe conditions, but they charged the card up front for the whole stay and refused to refund for the balance of unused nights. This location is disgusting, and the management is extremely shady. Avoid at all costs!!

I’m sorry but this was by far the worst hotel we visited. The pool was closed because it didn’t come up to code. The ice maker and juice machines didn’t work, and the smell of smoke gagged me all night, came in huge waves. In the morning someone was smoking outside our room.

We were not that surprised Americas Best Value was not a good value. The non smoking room smelled smokie, could have been cleaner in the Bathroom and the tub drained slowly. It was Spring break and we had hoped to make it further than Elizabethtown, but traffic was heavy and slow, so Elizabethtown it was. It was the only hotel that had available rooms that we could find in town. In a desperate situation this hotel got us through the night (with a couple above us having an argument at 2 AM).
