Winston B&B

Reasonably priced and very central, Winston B&B is situated in a fashionable part of Eindhoven. Clubs and bars line the street which is very clean and surprisingly unrowdy (when we stayed on a Monday). It’s a beautiful old building. However, with the shared bathroom, you are at the mercy of the hygiene of the other guests and, unfortunately, during our stay, it wasn’t the best. As the building is a few hundred years old, every step, cough and shout could be heard throughout the building. The acoustics of Room 8 meant that I could hear upstairs AND downstairs. The mattresses were really soft and comfortable although a bit big for the beds, so I kept rolling out. However, the breakfast at this place is INCREDIBLE. The freshest, crispiest bread with various meats and cheese, hot croissants and the tastiest coffee. The staff were lovely and professional, but unfortunately the noise meant I didn’t get a good nights sleep here.

Excellent check in/out system. Very clean, tidy and well presented accommodation. My room was spacious with comfortable beds. There was toiletries provided, clean towels and a large (for a hotel) multi language channel TV. The building was quiet, there was no noise from other guests, but Stratumseind is the party street so it will be buzzing until late outside. I got the hint on arrival when I found complimentary ear plugs on my pillow! Nice touch, good hint .

A parte aver prenotato per il bagno in camera e ho dovuto utilizzare il bagno in camera , mi hanno consegnato la camera a sera inoltrata . Ah dimenticavo come asciugamano un francobollo . Va bene se avete meno di 30 anni strada rumorosa e sporca

Was er samen met mijn dochter voor 1 nacht ivm concert guus meeuwis smiddags ingecheckt hsndig met codes voor de kamer en als je laat bent voor de voordeur ontbijt was prima!
