We have stayed here at least 4 times while attending to family matters in Bushkill. This was the second time the bathroom had a very strong "stale" or mildew smell (suspect it was the shower curtain). We should have asked that it be replaced while we ate dinner but thought maybe with the fan on it would lessen...it did not. We were so fatigued we just decided to let it go.

The building we were in wreaked of cigarettes. Our room had some sort of smell to it. We were sketched out enough we checked for bed bugs. Very limited “free” breakfast. There was no cereal. No toast. Freezer-burnt muffins, juice was bitter, 6 oranges, I tried 3 different kinds of yogurts - waffles were not good. Overall quality of food was sub-par for at best. Mom or Dad better think twice about taking food for the littles into the room because there’s a sign that no food leaves the breakfast area! Throughout the hotel (inside steps to the lobby) the carpets needed some serious vacuuming. We slept here because the Hampton was sold out. Be prepared to wake up with the sunshine. The curtain didn’t reach to the opposite end. I see why now why it was under $100-bill. If you need to lay your head down for a few hours this is a possibility. Expect nothing more.

Bed fantastic, all clean, nice staff. A good value and lovely vantage point . I hope to return and tru the restaurant . It’s a beautiful area and well located. We came during a storm and the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and reassuring

Average attempt at renovating. Overpriced hotel for the Quality. Door to room did not consistently lock when we closed the door. Normally stay at a Hilton property, but rooms were limited due to an event occurring in town. Floor in bathroom looked dirty. Old shower but the sink looked new. The hallways smell of smoke.

It was definitely overpriced for what we experienced. The room had a terrible odor. It was extremely musty which made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast that was offered was not appealing at all, therefore, we did not eat there. I upgraded & paid extra to be on main floor since we were not informed there were no elevators. My husband had knee surgery & could not walk stairs. We barely slept due to the smell of the room. Very disappointing…

We chose the hotel because it was a top 10 rated on trip advisor. It was advertised as breakfast included so that was a factor in our choice too. The lobby seemed newer and clean, and we were given directions to our room. The back side of the hotel needs a lot of work, not only cosmetically, but also structurally, the columns supporting a connecting bridge were cracked considerably. Going into the side we had rooms in there was a light bulb in the stairway just hanging from the wall, the walls had several patches that were unpainted, our room had missing molding and a small refrigerator that had missing parts inside. The outlets and switches were very old, the paint on the bathroom door frame was worn off. Overall, it looked like a 30+ year old hotel that had not been maintained. The complimentary breakfast consisted of a waffle, small cups for coffee, and juice. The mini muffins were stale, and the room they had dedicated for breakfast was tiny with only a few tables and no air conditioning. As for the restaurant/bar the poster in the hallway had prices listed that were considerably lower than what was shown on the copy paper menu we were given. If we had known what the prices were before going we would have gone down the road to a restaurant and gotten a better meal for considerably less. If this is a highly rated hotle in the area, I would hate to see how bad the lower rated ones are, especially for the prices charged.

Do NOT STAY IN THIS DUMP. We slept in our car in the parking lot because of how disgusting these rooms were. No cable in none of the rooms & roof leaked above the bed sheets were DIRTY! Hotel is TRASH!
