The hotel was very nice when we arrived and all the amenities are as described. We arrived on Friday night and went to Hersheypark the following morning. When we arrived back at the hotel later that evening we entered our room to a disgusting odor of cigarette smoke. We called the night manager who came up right away. He agreed the room smelled horrible and sprayed some air freshener that did very little. He apologized but didn’t have any other room because they were full. He suggested putting the a/c on and opening the window. It was 38 degrees outside and we proceeded to sleep in the room that smelled and freezing. After thinking about it we probably we should have gone out and slept in car. To make the story short the manager the next day offered a $30 refund and that was it. Calls to corporate offices did no better and didn’t even return phone calls. They even said it may have been one of our grown children that were smoking in the room. We are in our 70’s so they’re not children. I would think they would be more concerned that someone entered a room without permission and did this. All we asked was for a refund for the one night and they did nothing. If you decide to stay here just be cautious!!
