The Globe Inn

One suggestion -- I took my meds with water from the bathroom sink. I wish I had thought ahead and brought a little cooler with water and some ice. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but everyone is different. The jacuzzi is amazing. Took all my aches, pains and stress away.

The globe inn was very cozy and comfy place everything you needed was there or close enough to get. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. This was my first bed and breakfast experience and I'm hoping that they are like this one. We had the Ontario suite. Jetted jacuzzi tub was great to soak in at the end of the day.

The Globe Inn is an exception to most of our expectations. It is not a hotel in the common sense, and definitely not a motel. It's a combination of hotel and B&B. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are very cozy and beautifully furnished. The breakfast is delightful. A buffet of assorted muffins, cereals, breads, coffee and juices to start off with. Take your selections into the dining room that has an old world charm, and is also beautifully decorated. A staff member will come to your table and take your order from a menu selection that would please the most discriminating person. Within minutes your hot meal prepared expressly for you will be brought to your table exactly as you ordered it. All in all it was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations. The only downside is the lack of an elevator but this was clearly mentioned on their website and so it was no surprise. The location is about 10 miles from Macungie and about 3-4 miles from Pennsburg, with many varied eating establishments within 5-10 minutes from the Globe Inn. All in all it was a very relaxing low key stay with an ambience that's almost disappeared in today's hectic world.

One of the most unique places I have ever stayed. Every room is different. We stayed in Bordeaux. In room jacuzzi tub was a treat. I loved all the old pictures and history in the dining room. Made to order breakfast too! Staff. Was friendly, attentive and thoughtful.

I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so I really didn't know what to expect. But I must say The Globe exceeded my expectations. Im so happy my husband and I decided to stay for our wedding night. The Globe was the perfect ending for our special day. We can't wait until our next stay.

Stayed at The Globe Inn on our trip to visit Pennhurst Asylum. The history of building is what drew me into booking it to begin with ( we both have a soft spot for historical buildings ). The in room hot tubs were what sold the deal even though I ended up booking the wrong room , I was not disappointed in the least. Having an actual sitting/living room in our suite was a huge plus as it’s usually just a bathroom , bed , desk and television. There was directtv in room not just the usual two dozen or so channels you’d get a hotel. The kitchenette was also an unexpected surprise since I missed that during booking somehow. Check in/out was easy and quick with friendly staff. We missed breakfast on Saturday because we slept until 930 mainly because the shades in the room kept all the light out ( another huge plus ). We made it for breakfast Sunday morning before checkout and for a free breakfast you don’t expect too much but it was just as good as going to a diner and paying 15$ or so per plate. The area itself is a nice little town and I can’t overstate the quiet , relaxing feeling we had the entire time. All in all I’d be very shrouded if we don’t come back again.

2nd time my wife and I stayed for our Anniversary. We love it there. Clean, staff is awesome, food is good, rooms are amazing and super comfortable. Has a great vibe and the prices are really reasonable and feels really safe. Definitely will always stay at the Globe when we have plans to celebrate up in that area.

From the smiling face at Check-In, the made-to-order breakfasts, super clean accommodations, room decor and amenities, comfortable bedding, recommendations for local dining, and assistance from the owner with our bags when leaving, Globe Inn was the right spot for a romantic getaway. Already looking ahead on the calendar to book another visit.

Wonderful 4 night stay! Caring staff, beautiful clean room, great to order breakfast, and comfortable bed and linens completed our stay to visit family. We had a B&B in Key West for 28 years and respect the hard work and consistency needed to operate a sucessful Inn. The Globe Inn is doing it right!! Capt Steve and Nilufer
