Wir waren wirklich zufrieden mit den Zimmern. Wir waren wirklich zufrieden mit unserer Entscheidung, nach der Sieben Schwestern zu bleiben, statt direkt nach London zurückzukehren. Sehr empfohlen.

This is a super village pub with real ale and great food used to be our local 25 years ago so pleased to call in and get great food on a Friday night. Super menu selection and great prices fresh tuna with crushed potatoes and broccoli, mushroom burger with chips and salad vegan choices great. Cosy atmosphere excellent bar staff very welcoming great to see busy as ever. Wish we lived closer always worth a visit.

ONE OF THE BEST PUB ACCOMMODATIONS ON THE SOUTH DOWNS. This place has everything a hiker or tourist could want in pub accommodations. The rooms are charming, pin-neat and adequately sized (remember, this is a country inn, not a Marriott). The staff is friendly, helpful and absolutely delightful. The setting is idyllic….right in the village green of East Dean. The food in the pub is excellent, and then you can grab a pint and sit out on the green as night descends, enjoying conversation and a sky that gradually deepens into a deep blue, sparking with stars. The location is great….about 3/4th of a mile hike to the beach and the hike up seven sisters or beachy head. Frequent bus service goes east and west to Eastbourne or Brighton. Infrequent bus service to the south takes you to the waterfront and Beachy Head (plan carefully)

Die Rezeption ist am meisten unhilfel und nicht zukünftig mit Informationen. Wenn ich buche, schickte ich eine E-Mail, in der wir fragten, wo wir mit unserem Hund essen könnten, die gebucht und bezahlt wurde. Ich habe kein Problem, zusätzlich zu zahlen, um den Hund zu nehmen, aber ich erwarte eine Antwort, ich habe nicht eine. Als wir ins Auge gekommen, fragte ich wieder, dass wir nicht ein Abendessen haben konnten, weil Hunde nicht erlaubt waren, aber wir könnten ein leichtes Mittagmenü oder Snack haben. Nicht das, was wir nach der Reise für 3.5 Stunden wollten. Wir gingen irgendwo anders zu essen. Wir fragten, ob wir Frühstück in unserem Schlafzimmer oder in der Bibliothek essen könnten. Wir haben für die Bibliothek gewählt, aber es ist sehr schwierig und schlecht für die Verdauung, ein warmes Frühstück auf einem Loungetisch zu essen, nur die richtige Höhe für den Hund. Wir haben uns wirklich wie Außenstehende gefühlt. Hunde können willkommen sein, aber die Besitzer sind nicht. Ich muss sagen, die Restaurants waren schön und ich denke, sie waren über das ganze Ding beschämt. Es würde es etwas besser machen, wenn sie einen Tisch mit der richtigen Höhe zu essen hatten.

Precioso amanecer desde la ventana con vistas a la playa. Son habitaciones con el baño incluido, todo impoluto y muy cuidado.El personal es muy agradable y las instalaciones están súper nuevas y muy cómodo. Hacen la limpieza cada dos días pero siempre te preguntan si necesitas cambiar las toallas o reponer el agua o el champu.La decoración es muy bonita y sencilla, con cuadros modernos y muebles nuevos. Las camas son muy cómodas.El desayuno está incluido con un lindo comedor con vistas al mar también y con un personal majísimo que está pendiente de que estés cómodo. Además del zumo, café y té, hay varias opciones para comer. Huevos cocidos, fruta, yogurt, avena o salado con tomate, jamón y queso. Hemos venido en invierno y ya se sentían las vibes de vacaciones en la playa, repetiremos sin duda cuando haya más calorcito. P

We stayed for 3 nights as a family with children under the age of 6 and had the best time. The hotel service is exceptional, every need was met. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the valet who helped us park the car and take our bags. They reserved our space for us with a board for the whole stay. The children received a kids backpack with hat, yo-yo and colouring in. We went straight down to the health club to the indoor pool. When we came out the reception said our room was now ready and collected the keys for us. Our room was a junior suite, it spotless and sizeable with drinks provided on ice and slippers for everyone. In the evening the children could order complimentary milk and cookies which they loved. The outdoor pool was heated and lovely when the sun was out, this was end of may/June. There also was a waiter serving drinks outside. The breakfast was amazing, great selection and the kids loved have every meal served with a cloche and countdown reveal. The added extras on the service make this a wonderful hotel. The positives far outweigh the negatives, I guess it could do with some new carpets and some new upholstery but the charm of the old building supersedes this and although old it was very clean. The bed mattress was ok, quite soft. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok for young children. We will be back again!! Thank you
