Travelodge Aberdeen Airport

Lovely hotel staff was friendly, Layout of room was perfect. No loud noises, couldn't even hear any planes landing with being so close to the airport. Bathroom sink and bath could have done with a clean as plug holes had hair in them. But everything else was top notch.

The hotel could have been perfectly adequate, with its clean and well-decorated rooms, but several issues detracted from the overall experience: The USB charging ports beside the bed only functioned when the main room lights were switched on, which was inconvenient. The bedside light switches only controlled the main light, meaning the reading lights couldn’t be used independently. The water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low, barely more than a trickle which made it difficult to shower and have any pressure out the sink tap to brush teeth. Outside, the entrance road and car park are poorly maintained and it felt like navigating an obstacle course. With a few practical improvements, the hotel could be much better.

The customer service was quite good in the hotel, however, the hotel itself is not great. The bathroom was quite dirty and there is no water pressure. The shower basically trickles and is not enough to wash hair sufficiently or keep you warm whilst showering. I had to hold the shower head for over 1 minute on just my calf to get enough water to wash a bit of mud off it. The rooms are also quite cold, the heating is not on all the time and does not heat/effect the bathroom at all. Parking is available, however, there are alot of potholes and uneven ground.

A comfortable place to stop on your travels. What else can I say? Who needs more than this? Tell your friends.

Easy to find in a nice quiet neighbourhood. A warm and comfortable place with no unnecessary frills. Good value for money too.
