"I called ahead to say that we were gonna be late coming in and they said that the front desk would be open till 11. We got there at 10 o’clock and couldn’t find anybody in the office and couldn’t get to our room we had to stay at La Quinta and pay $305as an emergency could not reach anybody to respond to us for checking in."

"Amazing spot! Right in the hub of all the life in Durango! Great parking. The hotel itself was part of the visits fun. We walked around one night looking for something to do, but around 8PM things tend to close down in Durango but it turns out the hotel had to fun we were looking for. We walked back to the hotel and heard lively ragtime piano music coming from the hotels connected saloon. We walked in, found a chair, and cheered along with the rest of the crowd enjoying the music and stories of Adam Swanson."

"Hotel Vieux. La photo ne reflète pas du tout la réalité et donne l'impression de quelque chose de clair et de moderne, ce qui n'est pas du tout le cas. Les chambres sont sombres et le meuble est ancien et date d'une autre époque.  Le petit-déjeuner est frugal et simplifié à l'extrême. Die Preise sind auf dem Surf, aber wahrscheinlich ist es, weil es in Durango ist."

"The hotel is in a great location. Downtown is walkable from the hotel. Many restaurants and shops close by. Some construction still being completed. Every staff member was very friendly. The room was very large and worked well. A small deck overlooked the town. We really enjoyed staying here. The only drawback Isn’t really their fault, but there are a lot of fees and taxes added to the bill so be ready for that. There is a fee for parking."
