Mossbrae Hotel

I submit a review 1 year ago and in that review I stated, "We will return." We did! This hotel is really a home away from home. Actually, a lot of things are better than my home! Such a comfortable hotel and place to relax. Mossbrae has been a stopover for my wife and when we leave Washington, headed back home to the SF Bay Area. I appreciate the codes to access the lobby and the room. Thanks again for another great stay. :)

This place is excellent! The 1 queen bed "room" is really an apartment and feels like home with kitchenette, bedroom area, living room area, sitting room, large bathroom with 2 sinks (and heated floor!). All the rooms were impeccably clean and stocked with everything traveler might need - from nice toiletries to coffee and pour over set up. The room seems freshly remodeled and very stylish, lots of nice touches making it feel like someone's home, not soulless hotel. Self check in worked very well - got entry info well in advance, everything worked great. We had a nice dinner at Dunsmuir Brewing Works across the street - the place looks unassuming but food was great and service warm. I highly recommend Mossbrae Hotel and would love to stay there again sometimes.

Super cute contactless check-in hotel. In a convenient part of town that made most restaurants walkable. The rooms were well decorated and came with multiple chargers for different devices which we thought was a nice touch. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but we liked that the rooms were separated by supply closets so they weren't sharing walls with each other. Back patio was a nice touch. Only recommendation is to have outdoor lights to enjoy that area at night.

My parents were on their way to Oregon and stayed here because I read really good reviews. For some reason they had a very difficult visit and stay. They arrived and did not understand apparently fully that there would be codes getting in and out on all the differnt doors. No one is there to greet or help which is fine but had difficulty getting the codes to work. They told me they were given the wrong codes so they had to keep calling in. They were given a differnt code that worked but then the code to the room was an issue as well. It has super steep stairs if you are older or elderly do not stay here. I called the hotel this morning to follow up and was told they just didnt understand how to use the combinations on the various doors and it was not the codes it was not hitting pound symbols and check symbols etc. That is not what I was told. Over all the website looks great but the building is very old and parking is on the street no lot or anything so if you have valubles watch out unless you unload the entire car. No one on site for any issues so be ready to keep calling a phone number for help. I was also told that since they booked through a partner site that they paid an additional 15% on the room. They said that people need to call and work with directly. So much hoop jumping and very little help trying to get answers this morning.

Wonderful!! I am so happy to have found this place. It is a gem of a hotel in a quaint mountain town. You will not regret staying here. Very quiet, nice staff, recently renovated with cute decor. There are several places to eat. We ate at the brewery across the street. Good food. There is also a bakery and coffee shop that was yummy with lots of variety of pastries.
