One of the most horrible experiences in the numerous hotels I have stayed in over 3 decades. There weren't enough parking spaces, and the underground garage has a clearance of 6'8", which doesn't allow for a mid-size SUV with roof racks. The check-in process was annoyingly tedious and unnecessarily long, with the person asking me to spell my name and address, but THEN asking for my ID anyway, when she could have easily asked for my ID and entered info from there. She also kept interrupting my check-in process by taking phone calls - at least 3 times. The next day I needed to use the bathroom on the first floor, but it was locked. So I went to the front desk and waited in front of the person, not wanting to interrupt her because she was writing in a notebook, but she certainly knew I was there because I was only about 2 feet away. She ignored me for about 2 full minutes until she accidentally lifted her head and made eye contact with me. She then greeted me with an annoyed, quizzical look, as if it was beneath her to ask what I wanted. I asked her if the bathroom was occupied or just locked, and she told me it was locked. She then continued to stare at me like the unhelpful person she was instead of asking the logical follow-up of whether I needed to unlock it to use it. In summary, the property is outdated, small and uncomfortable; paired with staff who seem to go out of their way to be unhelpful. I couldn't wait to check out.
