Beautiful heritage building, with great attention to detail from Alex + family to ensure a wonderful stay

我作為酒店從業者真是很佩服Alex可以把家庭旅館打理的這麼完美！ 這條評語不是寫下簡單的乾淨整潔,服務好,位置好就可以表達我的感受的！我想説的是佈置的很有特色，很有藝術氣息，充分利用了所有資源但是不擁擠，處處體現出經營者的高品味和用心經營！在旅遊業尚未復甦之際Alex為客人提供的各種食品飲料體驗了他極大的善意！所以這是一個高度值得推薦的家庭旅館！我還會再回來！ As a hotel practitioner, I really admire Alex for managing his family hotel so perfectly! This comment is not just about being clean, tidy, good service and good location to express my feelings! What I want to say is that the layout is very unique and artistic, making full use of all resources but not crowded, and reflecting the high taste and careful management of the operator everywhere! Alex's great kindness in providing guests with various food and beverages when the tourism industry has not yet recovered! So this is a highly recommended family hotel! I will come back again! Excellent central location, quiet and great ambiance, I will highly recommended this guest house. Overall this was an incredible experience and wish to return soon. Alex is a fantastic host who made our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean with an elegant garden. We highly recommend this guest house to anyone who wishes to visit Dover.

What a comfy bed! Both mattress and pillows - even better than mine at home. I was in the charming Chartwell room. Self-service breakfast was perfect. Alex the perfect host. Easy walking distance from the station and town centre. If you have time to spare, I can recommend the town's museum which houses the hull of a wooden boat over 3000 years old. If I go to Dover again I'll definitely stay at Curchill House.

This property offered a beautifully appointed spacious room and accommodations, with no detail overlooked. Lots of charm and fastidiously clean. Alex was very informative about nearby attractions and places to eat. Self serve breakfast was perfect!

Couldn't have found a lovelier place! Room (Spencer Room) was excellent - bed comfortable and room nice size, bathroom clean, well appointed, and water hot, décor was lovely, kettle with tea and coffee. The community kitchen was excellent - if staying for a few days, it has all you could want to serve yourself. The owner had left provisions for breakfast (including ground coffee and French Press coffee maker - wonderful!!) even though that was not included in the booking. The owner greeted us remotely as we arrived and arranged to meet us later. He was friendly and a good resource of how to tour the castle and places to eat. The location is great - close to restaurants and very near the Castle. This place was way beyond our expectations. Thank you Alex!

We had a wonderful weekend stay here. The house is centrally located; about a 15 min walk from Dover Priory station, and closer to the sites, pubs, and restaurants we wanted to visit. The Clementine King room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and charming. Alex was a wonderful host. He was friendly and thorough when we checked in, and was very responsive over WhatsApp for any questions.

We reached the Churchill Guest House by the port in 15 minutes walking but by taxi it takes only 5 minutes. In less than 5 minutes you can reach the city center. The building is a restored Georgian house, lovely. We had the opportunity to stay in two of their rooms, and I have to say both were astonishing, with a great attention to details. Delightfully furnished, we had all the accessories we needed, and more! Bottles of water, kettle, tea & Co, biscuits, bathrobe, extra towels, wadding, wet wipes, etc. Bed and pillows (more than one each person) were really comfortable. Both the rooms were spacious with sofa or armchairs to have some rest. Alex, the owner, is super organized and he gave us more than one suggestion about restaurants and means of transport. The breakfast has to be ordered the evening before, there is a varied choice of sweet and savory food. I’m celiac so they gave me some slices of gluten free bread. Alex’s parents make the breakfast atmosphere even warmer, it has been a real pleasure to chat with them. We couldn’t find a fault, everything was absolutely perfect.
