"During my road journeys from Kolkata towards Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and beyond via NH 19, I have often found Shaan-e-Punjab, Nirsa, to be an exceptionally pleasant and dependable stopover. Whether it is for an early breakfast, a steaming cup of tea, a leisurely lunch or dinner, the place offers a welcome pause from the long road. What sets it apart from many other highway dhabas is the quality of its food, which I have found consistently good and satisfying. The prices are also quite reasonable, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The ambience offers a choice of two distinct dining experiences. One is a comfortable air-conditioned hall, while the other has the traditional charm of a Punjabi dhaba, with charpais and benches where one can sit back and enjoy a more rustic atmosphere.
