Space Hotel and Apartments

Always trying to stay there when I am in Dhaka for work. Location, facilities and staff are way above standard and give you the feeling of your own home. Highly recommended for everyone staying staying longer in Dhaka. Only thing that could be improved is the WiFi speed.

Nice and spacious place with courteous people- sometimes lacking in rooms essentials, but gets filled over a call. Limited by very tasty food options for b/fast and in-room dining. Slightly high priced, but that’s Dakha now a days! Overall homely stay assured!

I stayed at Space Apartments June to August 2023 and again for 30 days starting in mid-December 2023. Space provided excellent service throughout both stays. They are attentive and helpful with all requests. When my room had problems with the WiFi, they created a new Wi-Fi connection that worked perfectly. This kind of personal solution is rare and highly appreciated. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and it is so nice to have a separate bedroom and even a kitchen. The restaurant has excellent meals and an excellent team. Space is located on a quiet street in one of Dhaka’s top residential neighborhoods. Restaurants and shopping are only a short walk away. I highly recommend Space Apartments.

It was a pleasant experience to be back to the Space Apartment almost after four years (We haven't been to Bangladesh since the COVID). Since we first discovered the Space Apartment in Dhaka around 2016 as a boutique hotel like apartment --- which reminded me of my pleasant experiences of living in traditional, friendly family-run "pensions" in Firenze and Verona in the 1980s -- we have always found staying at the Space very comfortable due to various reasons. Besides good food prepared by it's Chefs Suren, Richard and others -- who have always gone out of their ways to prepare varieties of breakfasts to our liking -- all staff have also been so helpful and friendly, they have tried to do everything they possibly could to make our stay at the Space as good as it possibly could be. In this respect, we fondly remember the services provided by Messrs. Rajon, Shawon, Shihab and Rony from Foods and Beverages section as well as Messrs. Kamrul Islam, Nazmul Islam and Sharif from the House Keeping section. From the Front Office Monirul Islam and colleagued as well as the staff from the Security section have also been very courteous and helpful. For any tourist(s) visiting Dhaka the Space Apartment's spacious rooms with plenty of natural lights in a relatively quite area of the leafy suburb of Gulshan 2 would be a special attraction (We, indeed, loved it). Another plus point is its strategic location-- walking distance to the main shopping area around the Gulshan 2 crossing. Last but Not Least, a note of praise for the Proprietor and Chairman of the Space Apartments, Mr Bazlul Haque, and his able son Arman for taking personal as well as aesthetic interests in doing their best to maintain/sustain the 'family friendly' nature of their boutique apartment- even against the backdrop of the post-COVID volatile business situation in Dhaka. I am sure the new Deputy General Manager Mr Mohammed Tarek has been a great help in that endeavour. We are also thankful to Ms Jhumpa from the Marketing section for enticing us back to the Space Apartments when we decided to fly to Dhaka after almost four years.

Space Apartments offer a quiet, clean and modern hotel in Dhaka. They are well located for business travel with his access to nearby businesses and government locations. The quiet and greenery in the nearby area is a great respite from the city. The staff are also very helpful and friendly.

Despite being thousands of miles from my family and my own bed, Space Apartments felt like home. The staff and security are very kind and very professional. Breakfast buffet is excellent. My mouth waters thinking of the masala omelettes and fish stir fry. I usually gravitate to breakfast foods (like eggs), but the chef is very talented and the dinners-for-breakfast became my favorite thing to do. Thanks to the entire breakfast team - led by the very capable Nazmul and the very talented Chef Gomes. Shout out to Ronnie, Rajon, Shahab, and everyone I’m probably forgetting now (apologies!). I knew every morning when I left and every evening when I returned, I would be greeted by a smiling face at the front desk. Monid, Sanju, Bappy, thank you for everything. You are clear communicators and I never felt rushed when speaking with you or asking questions. I felt very secure. Security had extensive experience and always had their eyes open. Though Gulshan is very safe overall (I walked everywhere), it was nice to know that there were guards present if there ever were an incident. Also, the location is excellent. I could walk to unimart, food, parks, and various clubs. I highly recommend going to the rooftop to hear the evening call to prayer. Thanks again to Space Apartments. When I return to Dhaka I will most certainly be staying with you.
