Meine Frau und ich kamen um 4 Uhr. Wir wurden sofort gegrüßt, und gab es ein Königsbettzimmer auf der ersten Etage, vor dem Parkplatz. Ein- und Auschecken ging großartig. Beide Büromädchen, die wir besucht hatten, waren sehr nett und freundlich. Und das andere Paar der Mitarbeiter, in die wir liefen, waren ebenso nett. Unser Zimmer war sauber und riecht gut. Es ist kein großes Zimmer, aber es funktionierte für uns. Badezimmer und Dusche funktionierte großartig. Die Dusche war eigentlich ziemlich leistungsfähig. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank. Fernseher funktionierte großartig, mit vielen Kanälen zu wählen. Ich habe nicht viel Lärm von den umliegenden Zimmern oder der Halle gehört. Die Parkplätze ist groß und ist gut beleuchtet in der Nacht. Das Hotel ist ein Stein wegwerfen von einem der Eingänge in die Iowa State Fairgrounds. E Grand Avenue geht zurück in Richtung Zentrum. Es ist eine unmittelbare einfache Weg, um in die Stadt und zurück zu gehen. Sie fahren direkt durch das State Capitol Gebäude. Das Frühstücksbereich ist klein, aber es funktioniert. Sie hatten Kuchen und Grabber zur Verfügung. Wir hatten einen sehr netten Besuch, und der Preis war ziemlich anständig. Wir würden wieder bleiben.

Das Personal war so freundlich! Wir hatten ein bisschen Missverständnisse zwischen dem Hotel und trip.com bezüglich der Zahlung, aber sie haben es schnell geschafft und die Angestellten haben schnell alles für uns in Ordnung gebracht! Wir haben sowohl den Whirlpool als auch den Pool genossen und beide waren genau das, was wir brauchten! ! Das Hotel war weit genug von der Innenstadt entfernt, um ruhig zu sein, aber nah genug, dass alles zugänglich war. Das größte, was auffiel, war, wie zuvorkommend das Personal war. Absolut zu empfehlen.

The hotel in general and room layout in particular screams “old school.” Elevator inconveniently situated at rear of property. Newer slimline furniture shoehorned into a small room. The tiny bathroom accommodates 1 medium sized person. Small flat screen tv with no HD. Oddly shaped chaise lounge is perfect to lay your clothes on (only). Mattress sagged noticeably on any movement. Checkin process went smoothly and the lobby and hotel room were very clean. Well lit parking lot.

First time visit to this AmericInn. Nice, clean motel across the street from the airport so you can't beat the location. Also easy to get to the highways. Front desk clerk for check-in was nice. Room was nice and clean including the bathroom. Internet worked fine. Breakfast was the usual motel breakfast: make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, grits, cereal, fruit, mini muffins, etc. The indoor pool is closed for renovation. I do not use motel pools so that did not bother me. No noise from the airport so I fell fast asleep each night. I will stay here if I visit Des Moines again.

Ich habe einen frühen Flug reserviert und war am ersten Tag im Hotel. Ein neuer Winterurlaub ist gerade erst 18 Jahre alt. Das andere Hotel lässt sich nicht aufhalten. Ich habe vorläufig in dieses Hotel umgewandelt. Ich habe die Rezeption gefragt, um zu bestätigen, dass es 18 Jahre alt ist. Der Transporterservice des Hotels ist großartig. Es gibt viele leckere Umgebungen und es kann auch zum Verkauf ins Zimmer gerufen werden. Das kostenlose Frühstück wurde um 3 Uhr morgens geliefert. Das Zimmer ist auch sauber und sehr nahe am Flughafen. Dieses Erlebnis war großartig und ich werde das nächste Mal leben.

I stayed here for one night. The room, gym, breakfast area were all clean. The staff were all very professional. The young adults from the truck driving school were no issue at all, glad to see young people that want to get a career and do something honest with their lives.

Okay, where to start? 1. They do not have an airport shuttle after midnight. This is NOT stated on their website claiming to be an ”airport” hotel. 2. It took a bit to get a $27.50 ride that was less than 2 miles to this hotel 3. The ”lady' at the front desk hates her job. 4. When I said these things, she comment was take it up with management. She said they never listen to them etc (she hates her job) I said I would and I will drive the point home at this point, I guess this flipped her lid. She slaps the keys on the counter after several guffaws and such. I picked them up the same way she slapped them down. 5. This really set her off and she got nasty. I told her I picked them up the same darn way she slapped them down. She said f*ck you, I said it back and she kept going and going, at this point I felt the need to keep her going as I walked to the elevator and she did not disappoint. This hotel is clearly poorly run. The employees hate their job and the ”guests” are clearly a nuisance to them. Short of me yelling or getting out of line there is no cause for her mouth, other than she is a miserable human being (at least tonight). I had a second reservation for tomorrow night and I cancelled it and will be staying downtown. I only hope that hotel is not under the same management (stay tuned) When you are traveling, things don't always go well. This was a long day and it was made far worse by Brandy. Brandy is not a happy person and she hates her job. My guess is the shuttle driver does and probably everyone else here does as well. I will make sure this one is on the never again list. That makes 2 or 3 over the last 30 years, quite an accomplishment a few minutes into the stay. If you are flying into Des Moines it is advisable to prearrange transportation as the airport and the surrounding hotels are not up to the simple task of getting you to the hotel. When you call them out, they are not capable of a rational response or anything even remotely professional.
