Tried booking a reservation with a young person posing as a front desk agent. Incredibly rude, dismissive, would not help me with in-house reservation, then when telling me he would connect me to someone in-house, he transferred me to the 800 reservation number. When I called back he immediately put me on hold indefinitely. I had to call back 4 times to get the individual to pick up the phone and not put me on hold again. I asked for a manager on duty, he told me there wasn’t one. I asked his name, he says “Suk” and I told him I doubted highly that was his real name. He insisted it was his name pronounced “sook.” Again, I doubt that highly. He refused further assistance. I advised him I would be filling a complaint with Bonvoy Guest relations. Too bad to see this is how they treat a 40- year Marriott Rewards member.
