Waterfront Hotel

Perfect position, value for money and comfort. Breakfasts were good. Bathroom was bigger than expected but had a problem with the cistern which gave us the sound of running water all night. Views were spectacular. Everything was expected.

Terrible experience. Avoid this place at all cost you f you don't want to ruine your holiday. The worse 3 Stars hotel ever. Miserable conditions, booked double room, given Room 17. Be aware about this place. This was our terrible experience period 2 August to 10 August 2024.

Not a good stay ,the room was dirty, wallpaper peeling off the walls,under the sink filthy.The shower was disgusting not cleaned shower door hanging.Stairs dangerous and guard rail loose.Family room 11 not big enough for 3 people,Ok if you stay one night but not anymore.Book the other hotels just near by.Awful place

Unfortunately this place is very dated and in need of a major refurbishment. We was in room 10 and we had to go down to the next floor because the toilet wasn't working on that floor. The noise all night from gulls was horrendous they could do with sound proofing ie double glazing not rotten sash windows . We had an early ferry so ordered breakfast at 7.15 ...got at 7.35 ferry at 8. 30 ?..Most of the breakfast is OK but the beans taste of vinegar ?. It wasn't cheap for a one night stay and sadly it didn't come up to scratch The best and only thing that is OK about this is the location .

Lovely hotel in a fab location. We had a warm friendly reception on arrival by the owner and staff. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was 10 out of 10 for ingredients and quality. We will definitely come back again to this amazing hotel.

I booked a couple of rooms for an overnight stay as this was by far the most economical hotel in the area. I had a few qualms about the shared bathroom facilities but that turned out to be fine (shower room very small though) The room at the back of the hotel was pleasant and quiet, all bedding clean and fresh with comfy pillows, I had a good nights sleep. There was coffee, tea, biscuits and bottled water provided. TV reception was good, WiFi connection good too. Breakfast is included in the cost of the room and it was a very nice breakfast, well cooked, hot and fresh. I had the full English, great start to the day. I must mention the staff, all those we encountered were friendly, helpful and welcoming and it made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location, situated almost opposite the pier. Parking in the public car park is free overnight from 6pm-8am, we just popped out and put a couple of hours on the car while we had breakfast and checked out. This is a small family run hotel which provided us with a place to stay, it's a wee bit tired in places but I'd definitely stay again.
