Landgoed Hotel Tatenhove Texel

We were only 2 days on Texel on short notice, so we chose this hotel and were very positively surprised. The check-in process was very personal with a welcome drink, which gave us time to arrive mentally. Its located next to a small pond and the view is like a fairy tale. The staff went the extra mile to get us a room we really liked. The next decision was wheter half-board or not, we had dinner the evening we arrived at the hotel, and we were 100% convinced that half-board is worth its money. Coming fron Dubai we are a bit spoiled when it comes to restaurants. This chef here met all our expectations and the 3 course dinner was amazing, every evening! Also the hotel is nicely located to go for stroll in the evening to De Koog or start your cycling tours. They actually have bicycles at the hotel. Good choice, rooms are a bit expensive, but thats Texel!

Wat ontbreekt is zender nr. 14 zodat je bepaalde sporten niet kunt bekijken. Verder ontbreekt het bidet en airco . Voor de rest een prima hotel met goed ontbijt en diner. Het parkeren is goed geregeld en er zijn voldoende oplaadpunten voor de e bike. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Een prima hotel met vrijwel allemaal vriendelijke medewerkers! De kamer met balkon die we hadden was ruim, schoon en compleet. Een mooie lounge, een goed restaurant en mooi gelegen aan de rand van De Koog. Beetje jammer dat de balkonkamer die wij hadden “uitzicht” heeft op de andere vleugel en dat het restaurant alleen met vaste menu’s werkt. Afgezien daarvan: absolute aanrader!
