Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich! Es hat kleine, aber große Zimmer, und Sie können nur wie 50 m gehen und dann sind Sie am Strand. Der Strand ist auch wirklich schön. Hier können Sie Schwimmen und Schnorcheln ohne auf einem Boot genießen. Das Hotel am Strand ist auch sehr schön mit viel Sitzbereich, und sie haben auch Stühle und einige Sonnenbetten können Sie mitbringen. Im Hotel haben sie ein tolles Restaurant, und sie servieren Sie sogar am Strand! :) Das Essen ist so groß, Sie müssen eigentlich nicht irgendwo anders gehen. Sie haben asiatisches Essen und westliches Essen und viel mehr, und es ist wirklich gut. Das Personal im Hotel ist wirklich groß und hilfreich, und machen Sie sich wirklich willkommen fühlen. Wir würden sicher zurückgehen! Das einzige negative ist, wenn Sie irgendwelche Nahrung in Ihrem Zimmer verlassen, wird es von vielen Antenn befallen. So seien Sie vorsichtig mit diesem :)

Trotz langer Corona-Zwangs-Pause funktioniert hier fast alles einwandfrei! Der Pool wird jeden Morgen mit sehr viel Aufmerksamkeit gereinigt (das habe ich zu oft sehr viel anderes gesehen). Beim Frühstück lässt sich für alle was finden. Zwar bestellt man aus der Karte (nur ein kleines Buffet für Brot & Konfitüre) aber man kann es sich zusammenstellen wie es für einen passt. Die Tauchbasis versucht ebenfalls jedem seinen Wunsch erfüllen zu können und bemüht sich sehr, damit alle auf Ihre Kosten kommen! Unser einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Cocktails… die sind wirklich verbesserungsfähig, weshalb wir lieber ein Glas Wein bestellen ☺️ Insgesamt aber wirklich ein „Place to be“ wo sich das gesamte Personal bemüht, uns einen schönen Urlaub zu bescheren!

Das Hotel ist unvorstellbar. Es ist sehr gut. Es liegt an der Küste von Dauin. Es hat einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang und eignet sich für ruhigen Tourismus und Tauchen. Der Besitzer dieses Hotels ist der Vermieter von Xingzhe Diving. Übrigens, Ich kann Yang Yang, den Besitzer von Xingzhe Diving^_ ^, wärmstens empfehlen Wir wollten am 30. Juli 2023 übernachten. Zuerst dachten wir, wir würden nur ein Zimmer buchen, aber wir fanden heraus, dass wir das gesamte Hotel gebucht hatten. Später erfuhren wir, dass wir den gesamten Strand gebucht hatten 🏖️, weil es nur sehr wenige waren Leute, die gerade erst wieder gereist sind, und es gab andere Hotels in der Nähe. Es ist noch nicht geöffnet, daher ist es weniger überfüllt und hat eine bessere Aussicht. Der Preis für ein Zimmer mit Meerblick beträgt etwa 400, inklusive Doppelfrühstück. Das sind definitiv mehr als 3.000 in China, was einfach unvorstellbar ist! Ruhige und wunderschöne Landschaft, besser geht es nicht. Ausstattung: Das Bett ist sauber und ordentlich und das Schlafen ist sehr bequem. Es gibt keinen Fön und das Duschwasser ist etwas klein, aber die Duschköpfe hier sind klein. Sauberkeit: Das Personal reinigt und macht die Betten jeden Tag Umwelt: Volle Punktzahl 💯! Service: Sehr gut, sehr herzlich ~ Wenn man früh frühstückt, kann man das dem Personal am Vortag sagen ~

I'm conflicted by my stay here, so I'll just lay out the pros and cons. Pros: Absolutely great dive shop. First and foremost, thank you to Gabby who was my divemaster for all my dives. He is phenomenal and a huge asset to Mike's. Jonathan who manages the diving also provided good service. The rental gear was in excellent condition except for the booties which have seen better days but got the job done. They took me and one other guy to Apo island which I do not think is a profitable trip for them with just 2 customers, but they knew how much time we had at Mike's and made it work for us. Gabby also took me out on a solo night shore dive (which was incredible). Not all dive shops will do this. Corri who manages Mike's also provided excellent customer service. She responded promptly to my emails and then gave me her number so I could Whatsapp her to coordinate a transfer from the ferry. And then after I had an issue with my A/C (see below), she thanked me for saying something so I told her all my complaints as they happened (nothing in this review will be a surprise to them), and she did her very best to resolve them. She never once blamed me as being high maintenance, at least not to my face. And really, I'm not high maintenance. Mike's just has some issues that it needs to address. The wifi was really good and it worked in my room. This is a big deal and a rarity in the Philippines when you get outside the big cities. Mixed: Mike's restaurant has a fairly large menu, and there's a full page of Mexican foods as Mike himself is from California, where I lived for many years. I had the seafood burrito and it was bad. The seafood itself was fine although perhaps not the kinds I would expect to see in a seafood burrito, but ingredient availability plays into that. The real issue is that the flavor was well off. Now perhaps I was foolish to get Mexican food in the Philippines, but I think that if you put something on your menu, you should be proud of it, and this dish was not something to be proud of. Corri did tell me that she and Mike were going to order the seafood burrito the next day and reevaluate it, so again I appreciate her taking my complaint seriously. On the other hand, I had one of the Filipino soup dishes (I can't remember the name) and it was tasty. The breakfasts were also good. So food is a mixed bag, and perhaps you'll be fine if you stick to breakfast and Filipino food. Cons: The biggest con by far is that the bed is uncomfortable. The mattress is a 3 inch piece of soft foam. That simply doesn't cut it. As a side sleeper, my hips were hitting the slats below. Corri again took my complaint seriously and brought me a second mattress to put on top of the first. This helped but these mattresses are so soft, it's still not conducive to a good night's sleep. I stayed in several other places across the Philippines during my trip, including places significantly cheaper than Mike's, and all of my mattresses

If you are on a budget this is the place for you. Room rates are fairly cheap with only breakfast included. The menu has limited options so we walked down the beach to Atlantis Resort for several meals during our stay here. We stayed in an ocean view room #11 with two beds. The A/C worked really well. Room service is hit or miss if you can find any staff in the evenings. We waited two days before anyone came to clean our room and had to ask for clean towels and pool towels. Even then the reception staff wanted to know why we needed more than two towels. We had to explain there is no shower door or curtain to keep water from going all over the small bathroom so we need to use the towels to sop up the water. After the third day we went on a search for toilet paper and found some in a cabinet for our room. There is a mini fridge and tea kettle in the room and the dive shop owners (Critter Republic) took us to the Sunday market where we purchased some awesome food for the rest of our stay. On our last full day here we noticed a door sign that reads “please clean room” that we apparently overlooked when we checked in. It would have been nice if the receptionist mentioned, upon check in, you needed to request to have the room cleaned. I guess as Americans we take things for granted and just expect it to be done every day. Finally, We stayed here specifically to dive with Critter Republic. If I knew Critter Republic was just 200 feet down the beach from Atlantis Resort we would have just stayed there and took a couple days to dive with CR and saved ourselves the trouble.
