We stayed for 3 nights in room 501 of Viceroy Hotel in Darjeeling in November 2024. The room was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was good too but the glass in the bathroom window had a gap, which let cold air in, although that was not a big issue for us. The view from the room was very superb. The breakfast was excellent and the manager there Mr. Arindam Sen was extremely polite and cordial and made our stay very pleasant. Only issue for me in the breakfast was the coffee, which came together with milk added. My suggestion to the hotel would be to get a proper coffee machine which can make espresso, latte etc, which would make the breakfast experience much better. The location of the hotel was a big plus with the mall just 5 minutes walking distance. Overall a excellent stay.

We had great staying experience in Hotel Viceroy with veena world. Staff is excellent , very polite ,caring and friendly . Special thanks to Mr. Arindam , he is amazing and extremely kind and supportive person who always keen to help guest. He is also creative in creating different types of dishes . Thank you for celebrating our anniversary. Location of Hotel is also near market place. Rooms are clean. So good hotel to stay at Darjeeling.

The hotel is located at the heart of the city surrounded by malls. Safe and nicely maintained with supportive staffs. The spotlight is the restaurant. The food manager Mr. Arindam Sen is an exceptionaly talented person. Every time he send the menu to select our liking and prepare the food as per indiviidual's taste. Everytime he ask our feedback. Extremely impressed by his gesture. Both Veg and Nonveg items were tasty and the receipe was unique. Darjeeling tea, Fish Amritsari, chicken butter masala and Pine apple Jorjette are some of the items with exemplary taste. More than that the reception is exceptional .

I had good experience and staff behavior is also friendly and helping. Our food experience is great they have provided very fresh and delicious food. The cleanness is good .it location is heart of city with super view of mountains and nature.

Good hotel at great location renovation needed price is high, from check in to our stay (4 nights) was nice booked 3 rooms with my family as i was there in the year 2016 so i know some of them and in dining Mr.Arindam was very caring and helpful like my friend. thanks to all Kalyan Roy

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us but we moved after the 1st night as it was very disappointing. The staff were very nice on arrival and from the outset the place looks nice. Unfortunately our rooms were very dated and both bathrooms had black mould in them. There were stains on the bed linen, and the mattress was so springy and old. In general the room felt shabby. Also the landing is open so you can hear all the noise from reception...it was 1am before I got any sleep and then there was a group leaving at 4am so I heard them also. There is no alcohol served in the hotel and no communal area to sit in. The restaurant was very dated, and breakfast wasn't great. We left after the 1st night.

This is my second trip to this hotel and I have already planned to visit in next year.....to me this is not a hotel, my home in Darjeeling...on 7th and 8th November 2024 I got picturesque view of Mt Kanchenjunga from the window of my room in this hotel...apart from this, i never forget service rendered by all staff ...so I am longing for my next visit...
