Stars can be given only for well maintained reception and area between restaurant and reception. Rest all I am not satisfied with my experience and I am sceptical about previous reviews may be those are bought ones. In our stay for 3 days we faced no water problem for continuous 14 to 15 hours which delayed our itinerary. Last day the maximum staff were busy with a nearby wedding at gymkhana club, hence service was not given properly, half of the things in the restaurant was not available on that day. Wrong order came on table. On top of that restaurant bill takes 18% as CGST and SGST and I was informed that entire Darjiling takes this much of tax which was false. In bathroom body wash was not there, we asked to refill, it took two days to refill. Some of the lights in the corridor as well as in our room were not functioning properly. Due to threat of monkeys windows can't be kept open so ventilation issue inside the rooms was also there.Staff were courteous and polite but we pay money to get service. For every loophole they had Sorry as an answer. I will not not recommend this hotel.
