Super 8 by Wyndham Danville

I travel out of state frequently, and this is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Huge “do not recommend”. These rooms are so dirty and disappointing. Nothing looks like it is advertised. There is no free breakfast, not even drinks. Most of the doors have no locks. Our curtains were dirty, there was several cosmetic issues that are simple fixes yet still not taken care of, the furniture was stained and disgusting, our smoke alarm was missing, bathroom shower bar wasn’t even attached to the wall, our sink was cracked, mold on several surfaces, mystery stains on the walls, doors, and wash clothes, dirty air conditioner being held in by random screws. I had to get down and wipe the floors myself, and the towel came up pure black. The carpet was so nasty it made my kids’ knees and feet turn black from crawling on it. I was told someone would be around to clean the carpets and after waiting hours, nobody showed up. The staff is disappointing to say the least. Nobody does their job, and they are rude beyond measure. One went as far as making a comment about my children to another guest that she didn’t know I knew. We never even met or saw this lady. Just save yourself the trouble and find somewhere that is actually worth it. This place needs to be reported to the health department.

Do not stay if you don't have too. Traveled with family to attend a football game per website check in is at 1:00 arrived after 2:00 and was told our rooms were still not ready. Was booked for 2 rooms with queen beds 1 room had 2 double the other had a queen and double. Bathrooms had mold along the ceiling in the shower. One room the bathroom door handle was tapped on the outside and no handle on the other side. After we finally checked in and in our rooms was told they would be coming in to shampoo our carpet. One room the outside window would not close. Rooms are supposedly renovated the only update is probably the TV. Bed was decently comfortable. Shower was cold took a while for the water to get warm. Towels were dirty and black. Blanket on one of the beds had cigarette burn holes. Outlets near beds did not work.

Horrible room, smelled awful, roach infested, mold in the a/c unit and bathroom vent. Dirty bathtub with debris all around the top coated in dust. Bedding stunk. My kids saw mice in the lobby. We got in late at night to check in & had no choice but to stay. Cancelled the rest of the booking the next day. NEVER AGAIN.

Reservation wasn't prepared. Rooms were all filthy and roach infested. Residents in parking lot all day and night running exhaust fumes into stairwell. Hot water takes 30 minutes to occur. Renovations include facelift, furniture left all over . Checked 6 rooms, half didn't even have privacy locks. No remotes, no English, no housecleaning. No food, zero effort from staff, management, or owner. Made to pay cash pet deposit, then charged 3 separate times to our credit card. Came for a funeral of a family member, this dump did not help things. The reason it's 30 bucks cheaper than everything else is because it's atrocious. Never again, we're swearing off super 8. Every single one is a complete disaster zone.

STAY AWAY!!! The rooms was absolutely nothing as advertised from their website. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, broken furniture, stained floors, leaks, leftover/used bathing soap in the tub, mold-like smell , basically it was as though someone had trashed the place and it was never cleaned. I was not able to even stay the night and asked for a refund and was told I would receive a full refund on my card as this room cost me 124$!!! To this day still no refund and when I contacted ******* they stated that the hotel denied ever offering me a refund. This place is disgusting and will scam you of your money.

Filthy… Stinky room, Super 8 sign broken, which made it very difficult for us to even find the hotel that we had booked from out on the highway. Upon checking in, I was an easy, because there was one man sleeping in a chair in the lobby, and another one sitting slouched over with a hoodie on. There was another man who repeatedly kept going outside, looking back-and-forth as if he was waiting for someone to arrive.

Feces in the bathroom. Blood on the sheets. Bedbugs found. Roaches crawling. We left with a partial refund on a 2 nightbooking. Waited weeks for a manager reply for the balance of the refund. Contacted Wyndham corporate. It took weeks to get another partial refund but not in full.

We are local and had been without power for over 24 hours. Like many others in the area, we were looking for a warm place to stay. Unfortunately, every other hotel was booked and Super 8 was our only option. The room was awful. The bathroom door looked like it got caught in the middle of a fight. There were multiple holes in the bedding. There were no towels (although the friendly front desk person delivered some and was the only positive part of our stay). The shower had mold growing around it. The fire detector was missing, which I’m pretty sure was illegal. And the rate they charged us for this dump was robbery.

This place is a joke! My boyfriend and I booked this place for 5 nights, well we only ended up staying for two days till we just had enough. They advertise free breakfast with your stay went and asked them about it and they said they haven’t done that in a while , then why dose your website say you offer it. they have laundry access for you, which they don’t! No hot water, I took the coldest shower I have ever took in my life they said if you run the water for a bit it will get hot , so I sat here with the water running in the tub for 30 mins to an hour waiting for it to get hot. Our floor is wet from the fridge leaking water. They are pet friendly, they told us over the phone there is a pet fee lg dogs are 20 a night and small dogs are 10 well when we got here they told us that it’s 20 bucks a dogs for each night.
