Hotel l'Adresse Dakar

We had a great 7 day stay at the Hotel L'Adresse Dakar in September 2024. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with great service. I would skip the breakfast buffet, it left a lot to be desired - except for the omelettes they make to order. I have to mention Emmanuel, Samba and Mamadou who provided excellent customer service throughout our stay.

Make no mistake, L'Adresse is not a bad place to stay, but unless you are visiting someone in the neighborhood, why would you stay there? There is precious little nearby, so if you crave going out to dinner or want a little shopping, get a ride or forget it. Oh, and plan on calling a taxi, because they don't cruise the area. The hotel sits in a residential area that is still building up and there's nothing particularly nearby. Aside from that, the rooms are clean to the point of being completely without character or spirit. The restaurant is decent but no food in the bar, or so I was told, so no hope of watching football while you eat.

I stayed here for a few days and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is filled with beautiful art, the front desk staff (I think his name is Patrick) was so helpful and friendly. My room was spotless well appointed. The hotel is in a very walkable location. Everything is close by; the beach, restaurants, shops, pharmacies, and a supermarket. I ate dinner and had a few drinks at their restaurant. Delicious. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. My only issue was my airport transfer. I don't know how they vet the taxi drivers they use, but my driver should not be on their list. He drove distracted the entire way to the airport. I lost count of how many times his cellphone rang and he answered. I was very uncomfortable. Thankfully, we arrived safely. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It surpassed my expectations.

We stayed here for 3 days while visiting family in Dakar. The hotel was fresh, modern, and clean but also a nice size. Not super touristy but very personal. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was spectacular, and the bartender there was extra nice, allowing us to take an adapter to our room so we could charge our phones. The staff at the front desk were great, too, as were the staff at the downstairs bar and restaurant. We felt very welcome there and well taken care of. I whole-heartedly recommend it.

Clean, stylish rooms, very friendly staff, particularly Khoudia on reception and Thierry at the rooftop bar. There is a small pool and outside seating area. The rooftop bar is a great place to have a drink and a meal and watch the sunset and the stars.

The staff are exceptional at L'adresse, particularly reception, the room staff and the female restaurant and bar staff are friendly, attentive. The restaurant is fine, but more options needed on the menu. My one key grievance is the reception temperature. The premises are clean and well maintained, but the reception area can be stifling hot, and stuffy with no air circulating. Not good when meeting anyone in the lobby as you you find yourself sweating, not good for waiting for someone or a car to meet you because you end up drenched in a few minutes. Some simple ground fans can be installed if aircon is not practical in this large space. Its your first point of contact to the hotel and the impression is lost with this uncomfortable entry.
