The restaurant was the absolute pits. When we walked in at 6:30 pm with a reservation it was obvious we needn't bothered. There was only one table with diners and the rest of the restaurant was empty. Even so, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant with no view, lackluster decor, and no music. Certainly nothing to justify the price. It was all downhill from there. The menu had no prices on the meats and simply stated Market. In fact, the waitress had to check to make sure we had the right menus, as if this was opening day or something. All the sides had prices on them. We ordered and then it took something like an hour before we got our meals. Meanwhile, the Chef was a short distance away regaling the table of diners we saw upon entry with tales of his prowess, likes, dislikes, and knowledge of the area. Not once did he visit us, even though we were the only other diners in the restaurant. When the meal did start coming, the appetizers were the only bright spot in what was otherwise a lousy experience. The very expensive rib-eye was unevenly cooked and full of gristle and fat. When we told the waitress she simply replied that she would tell the chef and that was the end of it. No attempt to make good on the quality or to provide some kind of monetary recompense. This was my wife's birthday dinner, and I was truly ashamed to have treated her to this. Avoid this place until some radical improvements are made. The accommodations were nice, but nothing to write home about.
