If you enjoy some quiet from the bustling city center, this place was perfect. Located 15 mins walk from the city center (it doesn’t feel that far honestly), the photos of the hotel are as shown in the pictures provided. The place is really clean and cosy.
Giara liaises with the guests ensuring every need is covered. She and the team have been so lovely and helpful throughout. They do prepare packed breakfast for whenever we had to leave early for our tours. Absolutely enjoyed our time at the stay

Leider kann ich die Meinung von anderen Reisenden hinsichtlich Sauberkeit nicht ganz verstehen. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer lässt absolut zu wünschen übrig. Das Badezimmer war voll von schwarzen Haaren - wir sind blond 😉 Hier haben wir mal selbst zum Putzen begonnen, bevor wir das Bad betreten haben. Der Duschkopf würde entweder mal getauscht gehören oder entkalkt. Das Wasser spritzt in alle Richtungen nur nicht dahin wo es soll. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die WhatsApp Kommunikation funktioniert ohne Probleme und man bekommt sehr rasch eine Rückmeldung. Bei dem Preis darf man sich wahrscheinlich auch nicht mehr erwarten.

Schnuckliges kleines Hotel im Stadtteil von Santiago. Füßläufig schnell in der echten Altstadt, wo das peruanische Leben pocht. Zu den Touristenviertel ein wenig weiter, aber auch sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich, die Zimmer sind ordentlich und sauber. Das Frühstück überrascht, gute Auswahl, toller Kaffee, Eierspeisen werden nach Wunsch frisch zu bereitet. In der Summe, preis-leistungsmäßig eine top Unterkunft. Hier fühlt man sich sicher und wohl.

Beautiful hotel, it looks newly renovated. We had a room that overlooked Cusco with a big window. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff was amazing, even accommodating for our very early tour by making us a pre-made breakfast. Would recommend anyone to stay there.

Our receptionist, Giara, is incredibly warm and welcoming. She greeted us with a smile every day and helped with various tasks, from calling taxi drivers to finding stores for last-minute purchases. Since we had to leave early for Machu Picchu, she made our check-out and luggage storage process seamless. Sayda, our breakfast lady, is wonderful. She prepares delicious egg dishes and offers a rotating selection of fresh juices and fruits. It’s been a wonderful stay here, and I’ll recommend Casa Esmeralda to everyone.

This was a very comfortable stay, and a nice distance away from the Cusco city night life. The front desk lady on shift, Giara, was very attentive and sweet. She helped us with our laundry and brought us extra blankets when it got cold at night. Sayda, the chef at breakfast, is also very sweet and made amazing egg dishes every morning. The breakfast bar was delicious and full. I highly recommend this hotel for any Cusco visitors.

Very comfortable rooms with nice king beds, soft whites and ample enough bathroom. The breakfast was very good and with a variety of options. Great service by the receptionist Edison. We were two couples that took two rooms for two days. We would stay there if we come back in the future.

Awesome place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff! Gerson was amazing since we made the booking. He started chatting and asking if we needed help with anything else and we surely did so he kind of organised most of the stuff for us! Transfers, laundry, booking of tours, booking restaurants and massages and even a private tour he did with us! Super happy with his honesty and services. Definitely recommended hotel with nice breakfast! About 1km from city center on a quiet street which was exactly what we were looking for.

My stay at this hotel was very comfortable. First of all, Gerson at the checking counter was a very pleasant person and welcomed us warmly every time. In addition, after finishing the check in to the hotel, he delivered a welcome hot tea to the room. It was super nice welcoming greetings. This hotel is in a very quiet area. Although it was cute place, it felt very homely. The interior was stylish and very clean. The location is a bit far from the center of Cusco. But it was about a 10-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. Also, most tour companies picked us up at our hotel, so we didn't have to travel anywhere to meet tour bus. Also, when we were in trouble with the cancellation of the Macha Picchu tour due to a mistake by a tour company, both Guido, the hotel managers and Gerson kindly called the tour company and intervened to explain the cancellation. Unfortunately, we were unable to join the original tour but thanks to the hotel's support I was able to join another tour. I highly recommend this hotel for its homely atmosphere and friendly staffs.
