This was my third stay at the Caerwylan, which says plenty in itself. The welcome is always genuinely friendly with check in that is quick and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and a very good size, with spacious bathroom. They are very clean and the service is always good. The breakfasts are excellent, with lots of choice of both hot and cold food. The food quality is also excellent and it is nicely cooked and with quick and friendly service. The view from my chosen room was very nice, looking up towards Criccieth's impressive castle but if you decide on a room at the front of the hotel (which I have done previously), the view across Ceredigion bay towards Harlech and beyond is spectacular. The separate off-road parking was much appreciated and only a few dozen steps from the hotel. I can highly recommend the Caerwylan.

Unscheduled visit and accommodated with warm welcome. Lovely room looking over the bay with best shower I have ever had in UK! The dinner was excellent and so was breakfast. This is a gem because the staff are so capable and the facilities excellent.

The staff and hosts were extremely friendly and supportive, the room was superb and the food was delicious, if you are looking for somewhere accommodating, friendly, and value for money in Criccieth then this is the place for you, we had a wonderful weekend

If you want a taste of luxury try the caerwylan ! We opted for an executive room , a huge bay window with two comfortable chairs and a low table provided the most stunning views of the ocean , open the windows and you can hear the waves . The bed is huge , the bedding sumptuous and luxurious. All furnished elegantly and with every modern convenience , including a lovely ensuite , and all spotlessly clean. I'm my opinion , the food is Michelin star standard , beautifully presented and even the humble carrot is on a different level ! Fabulous choices and no problem dealing with my celiac disease .The restaurant itself it gorgeous , although in November , a tad quiet and lacking in atmosphere. I simply love this place , and while it's not the cheapest place in criccieth , for a special treat , it's hard to beat !

This hotel is truly a little gem, 7 of us came to stay over the bank holiday, to celebrate the life of my mum who sadly passed away in March. It’s was an amazing stay the staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to stay in an executive sea view room, these are massive and have a seating area with the most unbelievable view. We had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and the food was just exemplary and very reasonably priced. It was the first time staying in Criccieth, after the stay it certainly won’t be the last.

A lovely, well-run, friendly hotel in a fabulous location in Criccieth overlooking a lovely bay. Excellent food and a sparking clean room overlooking the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. All in all just perfect and I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent and very clean room, and fantastic breakfast. Comfy bed and a great shower. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Parking was nearby. Lovely seaside views from the room and the restaurant. The hotel is right on the seafront and in the centre of the village.

We recently held a 65th birthday party at the Caerwylan for 30 guests. The venue is fantastic, lovely lounge area to meet for pre dinner and after dinner drinks. Comfortable and well designed. The food was amazing, excellent service regardless of us being a large group. The staff were excellent throughout the evening and very helpful. I would definitely recommend the Caerwylan as a hotel stay, dinner or party.

What can I say. Wow, what a lovely place to stay. Directly in front of the sea front, lovely and welcoming staff and the food was fantastic. I am already looking forward to staying there again. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family, couples or solo travellers.
