We arrived for a 3 nights stay at the hotel, and found what we were expecting, and much more. Hotel location very comfortable, and the shuttle to nearby attractions saved us a lot of time. The rooms with the mountains view were clean, large enough, and modern. The hotel overall is very modern. Breakfast served every morning in the dining room facing the remarkable Mont Blanc view. Anything you had in mind, was served in Breakfast. The Staff is very helpful, for any inquiry or help needed. We had a lovely two night stay here and were very comfortable. I had a great massage with Giorgio in the spa! Breakfast was included and was fantastic. There were a few miscommunications which were resolved. We asked twice for a fan the first night and didn’t get a definite answer as to if that was possible. The second day we got 2 fans in our room. We booked two appointments at the spa and then had to rebook the times and then we learned that my daughter and I actually could not get the same treatment at the same time. The chain of command was unclear! Guests should be aware that even though the spa is open until 8pm you need to book time there - even if it is to sit by the dip pool. You get one hour. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Be aware that in summer time there is no AC, which is quite typical in Europe. You MAY get a fan if you ask!

Treated ourselves to a two night stay in the middle of our Tour Mont Blanc hike. Management must do a good job selecting and training staff, because everyone we encountered was attentive, professional, but also comfortable to interact with. Great breakfasts and lovely view from the room. We appreciated the hotels flexibility rescheduling our stay from Covid-year-one. We write this review five months after our stay, but, I believe that the card in the room with the hotel manager's contact info, actually included her mobile phone number.

Just back from a one week stay at this quirky 15th century hotel. It's most definitely like stepping back in time.The lovely young lady on reception always greeted us with a pleasant smile and was very helpful. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats, croissants, cereals and boiled eggs, this set us up for a good morning skiing. A short walk along the cobbled street to The Dolonne ski lift , perfect location for us. Pre dinner drinks at the hotel bar down stone steps and various arches we were served by whoever was around to serve you which again was quite quirky , we certainly kept the lovely staff busy. Evening meals were delicious and plentiful, compliments to the Chef. Liked the touch that any wine not finished was kept and put back at your table the following evening . The bedroom was immaculately clean and warm. The double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses pushed together, with bedsheets and woollen blankets all very comfortable. Housekeeping every day. The whole team was exceptional, reception, waiters and waitresses, housekeeping, night manager and not forgetting Alba . the owners should be very proud of all of their staff. The hotel is dated but that's part of its character. Would definitely go back.
