SpringHill Suites Omaha East/Council Bluffs, IA

We stayed at this hotel for a quick overnight visit due to its proximity to the Henry Dorley Zoo. It’s a great location for easy access to the zoo and downtown Omaha. The hotel itself is an average stay. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient at check in. There were places in the hallway that needed some vacuuming and trash pick up but it was typical daily use from inconsiderate guests. The room was average with a few scuffs on the wall and corners that looked like the vacuum hadn’t touched in months. But overall was clean. The beds were comfortable but the room temperature was inconsistent going from hot to cold as the air conditioning kicked on and off. The most concerning thing in the room was an unidentifiable chunk of black, reddish gunk stuck in the bathtub that at first glance I thought was bloody mucus or discharge. After soaking in hot water and trying to use a Lysol wipe to clean it would not budge or even get smaller so I determined that it at least was not Blood. Breakfast was typical hotel fair with mass made scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffle machine, and fruit. There were no muffins or yogurt but I’m not sure if they don’t usually carry them or if they were out. The breakfast room was incredibly busy and there was a line for breakfast that did not move very quickly.

The staff was wonderful, even after a horrible storm had just come through the area. The room was large and we had plenty of space to spread out as a family of 5. Enjoyed the walk in closet to store all the suitcases. Breakfast was great and the staff managed it wonderfully, even with a large group of young ladies coming all at once, they still kept it stocked and clean. We would definitely stay again. Close to the Zoo and easy to access from I-80, but not so close it was loud.

First, what I liked: friendly staff, comfy bed, enough towels great water pressure, ac works well, good lighting, and an ergonomic desk chair. BAD: carpet stained worn, couch the same. Soap tray in shower was broken and repaired and more. .

Stayed one night parents and kids last Saturday. Six minute drive to nearby Stir Cove was pretty convenient. Nearly everything around was sold out, given the College World Series finals. Room rates seemed to be about double price than usual as I paid nearly $350, which for this place was very high. Kids liked the pool and the breakfast. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable and the amount of trash and debris all over the third floor was rather alarming. Overall, a mixed bag and would stay elsewhere next time in the area.

We booked at this SpringHill Suites for an event at the Iowa West Fieldhouse. Based on the map I wasn't sure how close we would be, but it was incredibly convenient with only a parking lot and another Marriott hotel in between. We had requested adjoining rooms if at all possible and the front desk staff took extra steps to make this happen for us. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good with plenty of room in the lobby area to eat. It was nice to have French toast in addition to the traditional waffle offering. The rooms were clean and spacious and would work very well for families. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my two night stay at the Council Bluffs Springhill! The hotel is clean, modern, comfy rooms and beds. Also, the breakfast is good and plentiful. The staff is awesome! All the employees are friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service is a bonus so I took full advantage of it. The location is so convenient with restaurants, bars and the ****** within walking distance. It's also convenient as it's close to the main interchange in the area. I got to meet the manager, Shannon who deserves an A Plus for keeping a great hotel together and for help and taking care of her wonderful employees.

A beautiful hotel, room was very clean and quiet. The front desk agents Lora and Jules were very professional and friendly, making feel me so welcome. The shuttle service and complimentary breakfast a plus. Highly recommend anyone planning a stay in Omaha for business or pleasure, because I know I will again.

I stayed at the Springhill Suites in Omaha / Council Bluffs for two nights in late October. Located close to the freeway so moving back and forth between Nebraska and Iowa is easy. I used the Bonvoy app to book so I was able to go right to my room without stopping at the front desk. I stayed in room 310, nice big room. Livingroom is separate from the bedroom. Smal kitchenette (microwave, small fridge, sink, coffee pot). Comes with free breakfast…normal fare. Free parking. Everything you would expect at an appropriate price point.

First time and won’t be the last! Laura at checkin was friendly and efficient. Rooms neat roomy. Breakfast plentiful and good variety. All staff were pleasant and greeted us whether coming or going. Ice water and coffee station a available all the time. Work out room and pool looked nice but we did not use them. Easy access to interstate, restaurants and shopping.
