I would like to start by saying I appreciate that they allowed us to check in early at 1:30pm, hence the 2 stars. Overall, however, the hotel is pretty run down and not as nice as pictured on their website, nor are the many online reviews in alignment with our experience. At check-in, the staff training took precedence over acknowledging us beyond signing a paper and giving us a key, and at check-out they checked us out of the wrong room and gave me the incorrect receipt and I had to return to the office to rectify the issue. The Bay View 2 Queen Room - there was a significant musty smell, the carpets were stained and not vacuumed (we had to request that they vacuum after check-in), the bedding had obvious threads, lint, and holes, the toilet cover was askew for some unknown reason, and there was dust and lint all over the furniture surfaces. Thankfully the mattresses were comfortable. And our balcony furniture was old and cracked, and we could hardly open the screen door perhaps because it was rusted. The Grounds - the pool area has abused, saggy furniture, plus rusting umbrellas. We were quite disappointed by the stay and one final comment is that I was sent several texts and emails to pre-check-in for 2 days before our stay and I found it invasive and annoying, as we were on a business trip and I had no time to do this and the messages kept coming in.
