Madüneta 5 Terre

Beautiful view, room, and service. Our host, Massimiliano, gave great recommendations for the area and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. He even helped get a late night taxi when our trains were cancelled and made sure we got back safe to the guesthouse. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I had the great pleasure of staying at Madüneta 5 Terre Guesthouse recently. Our room was lovely. It was spotless and had perfect amenities. The view was incredible. Massimiliano was amazing, as was Claudia. Unfortunately during our stay I broke my ankle on the trail while hiking from Corniglia to Vernazza and had to be rescued off the mountain. As you can imagine it was a difficult and scary ordeal to go through while traveling. Massimiliano was so, so very kind. He made us feel very well taken care of. He helped me maneuver my way out of our room and to the street level while on crutches. He and my husband then practically carried me down the alleyway to the taxi Massimiliano had arranged for us. He helped put me in the taxi and said goodbye to us, and I will never forget him and his kindness. Thank you Massimiliano. We will go back one day for a do-over trip, as this was the perfect place to stay in Cinque Terre and I left my heart in Italy.

My sister organized a family getaway to Corniglia and booked 5 rooms at Madüneta 5 Terre. She couldn’t have picked a more delightful guest house! Host Massimiliano saw to our every need, including reserving a table for us (we were 12) at a local restaurant after a long day of travel. The rooms were spotless with superb amenities, such as toiletries and bottled water replaced daily. The room views from the second floor were gorgeous. I’ve traveled extensively, as a tourist and as a flight crew member, and I highly recommend a stay at M5T when visiting the Cinque Terre.

Massimiliano is the perfect host! He took care of us from the moment we booked three rooms at Maduneta. He helped us unload our luggage and provided information about parking. The guest houses are beautifully appointed with every attention to detail, including much appreciated air conditioning! One room for four had a delight outdoor terrace and another for three boasted its own private garden! The guest house does not have its own restaurant, but we were provided with plenty of breakfast snacks, coffee and bottled water each day, along with discounts for a nearby cafe. Max also made us dinner reservations at The Posada restaurant next door, which was delightful! Corniglia is quieter than the other Cinque Terre towns, making it a delightful place to visit! Many thanks to Massimiliano for a beautiful CT experience!

Massimiliano was very nice and helpful. He helped us with restaurant reservations and parking. He was very responsive. We had the Piccabon room and it was very clean, up to date, and nicely decorated. The patio was our favorite part. We were able to get away from the crowds, have some wine and relax with a beautiful view. I highly recommend this room. Pay a little more to get this room so you can get the balcony. It gets hot and crowded in Cinque Terre so you'll appreciate being able to get away and have a nice break from the crowds, enjoying the breeze and the view.

I cannot recommend Madüneta enough. We stayed in the Piccabon room, and it has the most astounding view imaginable. The furniture was very nice, including a comfortable bed and some loungers on the balcony (with blankets included), perfect for an evening with wine. In addition, Massimiliano is one of the most helpful hosts I’ve ever experienced. He has great recommendations for meals and is able to help with reservations. He also provided great guidance about navigating the area. We will certainly be staying here again when we visit Cinque Terre in the future!

Stayed in the Picabon room for 2 nights. Everything was perfect - Massimo is a super host- he greeted us when we arrived- the room is spotless and beautifully decorated but the best part is the terrace with the most magnificent view of Corniglia ! We spent a lot of time just looking out and enjoying the view! Will definitely come again! Would highly recommend Daa Maduneta- we visited all the villages in Cinque terre and Corniglia is the most authentic of them all!

Splendida Guesthouse dotata di tutti i comfort. Un plauso per l'attenzione ai particolari, alla pulizia e alla comodità. Grazie a Massimiliano e al suo team per la gentilezza e la disponibilità. La nostra camera aveva un incantevole giardino con doccia esterna calda. Bellissimo tutto!

Scoperto per caso, un piccolo paradiso nel cuore delle 5 terre. Massimiliano e’ cintura nera di ospitalità e cura del dettaglio. Consigliatissimo per trovare il giusto equilibrio tra turismo e relax.Da qui si può partire ogni giorno alla scoperta delle 5 terre.
