Restaurant und Bar haben erste Priorität und dort sind die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter besonders damit beschäftigt, die vielen Menschen alle in der zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit zu ”managen”. Wie mag das wohl funktionieren, wenn wirklich Hochsaison ist? Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis scheint nicht ok. Ein Mitarbeiterin erklärte uns, andere Hotels in Cork seien viel teurer. Mmmh...

Absolutely great hotel clean rooms comfortable beds and friendly staff who where up for a chat drinks are available to 2am night staff where also great to we had room 8 and it was much better than expected don't let the other reviews fool you this is a great spot overall top notch would highly recommend

Als wir ankamen, war das Außenaussehen nicht gut, aber einmal in uns wurde von einer sehr schönen jungen Dame begrüßt, die uns in unsere Zimmer zeigte. Wir beide hatten Zimmer mit wunderschönen Blicken auf die Fallen, sehr sauber, gemütlich, komfortabel und warm. Das Essen war wirklich wunderschön, obwohl nicht zu groß eine Wahl für eine Vegetation, aber John war wirklich freundlich und unterhaltsam! Es war ein junger Mann, der am ersten Abend die Gitarre singt und spielt, er war wirklich gut und wir schlossen uns ein! Frühstück am Morgen war wieder ein wenig enttäuschend für eine Vegetation, aber groß für Fleischfresser! Johns Service war wieder wirklich groß, geben Ideen, wo zu besuchen usw. Unser Essen am nächsten Abend war auch sehr gut und dann hatten wir die Erfahrung vieler älterer Menschen, die in den Pub fahren. Was für eine Nacht!!! Die Paare tanzen irisch und wir waren wirklich erschöpft, nur sie zu sehen, sie sitzen nie wirklich! Wir wurden gebeten, uns beizutreten, wir hätten nicht alle mit ihnen aufrecht erhalten können! Unsere Verwandten gingen aufs Bett und wir blieben unten, um sie zu beobachten, aber wir mussten es einen Tag anrufen und sie alle waren noch auf dem Weg!!! Sie machten nicht einmal einen Lärm, wenn sie verließen! Das Frühstück war wieder gut und John sehr aufmerksam. Der einzige Nigger, den wir hatten, war ein Hund in dem Zimmer neben unserem Familienzimmer, das sie ein wenig wehe störte. Das war eines unserer Lieblingshotels während unseres Aufenthalts in Irland und würde sicherlich wieder bleiben.

Nice hotel with decent amenities. Street noise can be a bit much but it was a Friday night so that was part of it. Staff was courteous and helpful. Overall I would recommend a stay here.

The accommodation is ideally situated in the Centre of Cork, near all the attractions and next to a Tesco supermarket. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, bear in mind that this is not a hotel or a hostel - it is student accommodation which is let out during the summer when the students have gone home. This means that the rooms are very spartan with nothing much in them apart from a bed, desk/chair and a bathroom. There is no TV, no tea/coffee facilities, no bin or lamps. The only lighting was the very bright main ceiling light, which was too bright for me, meaning that at night it was more comfortable to sit in darkness. There is a fully equipped kitchen/lounge on each floor, with nice views over the River Lee. Check in is from 4pm which might be a little late for some, although I understand you can leave your bags in reception if required. I would stay here again, but not for any longer than one or two nights. All in all though, not bad for the price.

Our stayed at Peggys & Peters house was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I've been there with my husband and my 4 months old baby. She provided us a pack and play for our son. The breakfast was one of my favorites, complete and abundant, very delicious. Highly recommend, the bedroom was spacious, clean and had everything you need for your stay. Thank you Peggy.
