Hotel in decent condition but not new

Location to airport convenient. Front desk staff not helpful with general questions - they refused to contact me in my room using the room phone or my cell phone when my grandfather arrived to take me to lunch - he has no cell phone - luckily, I literally went to the main desk to ask a question and he was sitting in the lobby just waiting as they would not assist him. I totally understand confidentiality - having owned a resort myself - but they could have called me on the hotel phone and alerted me that I had a guest without giving any proprietary information about "me"- that's all they had to do. If I was NOT expecting anyone, I just would not come to the general lobby. WiFi /Internet was spotty and continually breaking connection. TV had to be "re-set" each time it was turned off. Had an additional , not disclosed daily charge added to my bill for the use of an in room safe - even if it was not used. Had to request a refund which took a week. Towel set up was short in the bathroom upon arrival, had to go to front desk to get washcloths - floor was not very clean in bathroom. "Suite" furniture is old, stained and very uncomfortable. Hallways needed a good vacuum cleaning. Breakfast offerings were generous and fresh. Has the ability to be a great location - just need owners who care.

The front desk staff was friendly. Area around hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable, room was clean . Breakfast had waffles. yogurt, eggs, cereal etc .good variety. It was a quiet stay and I would recommend it to anyone. Only a mile from airport so taxi was cheap.

I was visiting the Columbus area with three of my good friends over a weekend in October 2022. (We arrived on a Friday afternoon and stayed through Sunday morning.) One of my friends reserved two rooms for the four of us, and we were fortunately able to have our rooms next door to each other. I was in Room #417 with one of my friends, and our two other friends were in Room #419. The property is very, very nice... looks fairly new. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. I appreciated being able to use the business center computer in the lobby. The hotel has an indoor pool (no hot tub, unfortunately). Also, breakfast is available, but we opted to eat breakfast elsewhere for the two mornings of our stay. There were a couple of significant problems during our stay. First, the power to the building mysteriously went out at the same time both nights during our stay (around 10 p.m.). Very inconvenient, and we have no idea what caused the outage. Apparently, the hotel staff didn't know either when we asked about it on Sunday morning. It was strange because it did not appear that any other buildings near the hotel had lost any power. Fortunately, the outages only lasted no more than 15 minutes each night... but on the first night, it happened after my friend and I had turned in for the night. We kept the fan running constantly which stopped during the Friday night outage... and I sleep with a CPAP which of course stopped working as well due to the outage. Very bizarre, and then it happened again on Saturday night. Another problem we encountered was that the elevator had stopped working during our stay. Perhaps due to the power outage, but maybe not. After the power to the building was restored, the elevator was still not operable. Lastly, our group had an awkward encounter with one of the gentlemen working the front desk. We had gone to a convenience store nearby to pick up some snacks, and this gentleman made an awkward joke about us not being allowed to bring the snacks inside. He was trying to be funny but he was not funny at all. The joke just went flat and I don't think he realizes how unprofessional that was. Overall, this hotel has the potential to be a great place for guests to stay. We were not impressed with our experience here, and I can't say I'd want to stay here again in the future.

The place was clean and very nice. The rooms were big and beds were comfortable. We had a king room and it had a nice sectional sofa in the room to relax on. The breakfast was okay, it had sandwiches and eggs to heat up. As nice as this place is, there should be the hot breakfast that choice hotels offers. It is near the airport but the plane noise was not a problem at all, Everyone was nice and friendly who worked there. The only complaint I have was they need to severely upgrade their wifi. You had to sign on a couple times a day and that got annoying. Internet was slow and with all the business travelers right next to the airport this needs to be addressed.

Worst check in experience ever. Arrived just after 5PM and room not ready. Spoke to manager Raju who basically said too bad we can cancel your room if you want. Reason? Too many late check outs from today. Worst customer service I have experienced.

Housekeeping should've been better. Found a couple of hairs in the shower that were obviously not ours, same under the toilet seat. The light in the bathroom was broken and glued together. The room and hotel seemed dated and could use a refresh. I would stay again

The young man working at night was so helpful and friendly, very good customer skills. The hotel was very clean and beautiful and comfortable! It was in a nice area with 24 hour food options very close by.

I was extremely disappointed when, after I registered for a room (king with pull out couch for four people), the man at the desk kd me there were no pillows available for the pull-out couch, nor blankets. He offered me an extra sheet to use as a blanket. I canceled and left even though my children had parked and unloaded the car. It's the only hotel I've EVER dealt with that had pull out couches and did not have piloted and a blanket for it in the room.
