This stay was very confusing. We thought Aloft hotels were nice, this one was run down and the front desk person was awful. She said as few words as possible to us when we checked in, and when we got back to the hotel later she was spraying water somewhere near the food and said, “there is a bug im scared” as we walked by, and then she screamed at the top of her lungs. In the room, the bathroom had mold and Sheetrock damage from water. There was a strange window in the shower that looked into the bedroom so taking a shower after kids went to bed wasn’t possible because the light would go through. Old TV with no streaming options. The AC was located under the desk so sitting at the desk was impossible and air flow to the rest of the room was restricted. We paid an exorbitant amount of money for our 1 night stay ($320) and just couldn’t believe this was an Aloft hotel, let alone a Marriott property. We emailed Marriott customer service and never heard anything. We’re gold elite Bonvoy members so we expected more.
