I mostly stayed in West Yellowstone and Jackson on my recent trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton but while exploring the east side of Yellowstone I did stay here one night. This is a fantastic Choice Hotels property. I was recognized for being a Gold Member and was given a snack and bottled water upon check in. The room was very quiet and very clean. Even though I arrived a little early they did their very best to get my room ready as fast as possible. The room itself was very nice, and had plenty of space. Two things that really stood out to me were: 1) everything in downtown Cody (very cool little town) was walkable from the hotel. Once I parked, I never used my car again until it was time to check out 2) the breakfast was filling and delicious. I’m very happy with my decision to stay here and would make the same choice again!

nice clean rooms ,we always try and stay at a comfort inn ,I just don't understand the price difference ..first night was 10-10 and were charged 148.85 decided to stay another night 10-11and was charged .. 128.87 ...don't know what the difference was ??

Very comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient for our needs while traveling thru Cody WY on our way to Yellowstone. Walking distance to downtown restaurants. Front desk staff very friendly too! Their hot breakfast buffet is next door to the hotel and the guy who ran it was super friendly! You have to walk thru a gift shop to get to the buffet and the selection of gifts and souvenirs was great!

We stayed just one night here as we traveled to and through Yellowstone. It provided nice clean accommodations and offered everything we needed and expected. The staff was welcoming and helpful. A free breakfast was provided but was in another building clear across the parking lot and closer to the Holiday Inn next door than to our hotel. We got lucky with great weather but would hate to think of traversing that distance in winter or the rain! Once we got there, however, the breakfast was really quite good! Prices continually going up bother me as a retired person on a fixed income and am concerned that those prices are going to make it impossible for me to travel soon! I hope that doesn’t happen!

Neither the heat for the room or the refrigerator worked. Clearly a problem the prior renter had had -- the settings I found were for the maximum heat the machine allowed. The experience also suffers from no views, no elevators, and breakfast is in another building -- and is not free even when one shows one's room key.. They do provide coffee -- but only provide very small cups. This probably saves them a little. Any one gets to pay over $200 a night all in for this! There are many, many better places in Cody.

-- Is next door to the Holiday Inn. Both properties are towards the end of the area with shopping. - Hotel Irma, the iconic hotel, is .5 mile, it is walkable. - Breakfast is off premsies, toward the back of a gift shop. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, eggs, sausages, cereal, waffles (make your own), muffins. - Wi Fi. For some reason I could not sign on to WiFi on my 201 5 MacBook Pro. Another MacBook Air and an Android phone could sign on to WiFi. I asked the front desk and the person had no other reports of not signing on. I called the number for the hotel's WiFi provider and the person who answered the phone patiently took my complaint. The next day I could sign on. Was it my phone to the provide or a coincidnece? - Housekeeping not daily (at least that is what I was told) but housekeeping stopped by daily. - If you decide to go to the Cody Rodeo, you can catch a shuttle, $5.00 for both ways. - Acceptable hotel. If you want to be in the middle of the action on the main street try Hotel Irma or Moose Creek Lodge.
