Baymont by Wyndham Clute/Lake Jackson

This hotel was the cleanest of the two we tried to stay at. The toilet was leaking pretty bad every time you flushed. We asked for it to be fixed but no one ever came. We fixed it ourselves. The free breakfast was ok. Only if you made it down by 5:00am or by 6:00 all the biscuits, gravy, sausage, and eggs will all be gone. They really think that 12 biscuits will feed 200 people. The staff wasn’t that friendly. With the exception of the night clerk that was working on 9/13/2024. She was absolutely tremendous.

Smells like mold, fixtures are rusty in bathroom. Floors needed to be deep cleaned, carpet was filthy, too much noise and atmosphere isn’t what you’d expect to pay $90 or more a night

We have stayed here for 5 years and its always clean and comfortable. The lady that prepared the breakfast was very sweet and had everything ready to refill when needed and kept it clean!

ROACHES!! Checked out 5 minutes after checking in, found 11 roaches(all alive) within this short period of time. The lady at the desk tried to tell me no they didn’t have roaches but I showed her pictures. DO NOT stay here

Multiple rooms were infected with roaches. The receptionist was unbothered by my concerns. Even asked me what do you want me to do? Like what!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I was very uncomfortable, but there were no other hotel options and it was the middle of the night.

I have never checked out of a hotel so fast. We didn’t even unpack a single thing. Mold EVERYWHERE in the room, paint peeling off the walls, and window was one push away from being on the ground. Part of the silicon caulking wasn’t holding the window, when we heard the noise from outside we investigated to find this death trap. The mold was on the ceiling, under the microwave, on the walls, on all the vents, etc. the air was damp and humid. There was an attic access door in our room which was bent from the humidity inside the room. My kids refused to use the restroom or sit on any of the furniture. Paint was peeling all along the wall with the sink in the kitchen area. The whole hotel smells like mildew and musty. The elevator was very sketchy!! The clientele made us uneasy, you could smell someone smoking in the room next to us. Awful awful awful!!!!

A good stay for the price. Quiet room. Easy parking. Lighted parking lot. Small but nice pool. Decent/standard choices for breakfast. The room was good, but did have some signs of wear. This property is a good choice if you're looking for an inexpensive place to rest.

As the title says, the 3 main things you'd expect. Close to the plants if you're here to work in one. DirecTV makes for good variety. Wi-Fi is good too. Checked out every Friday morning to go home on the weekend, but came right back here each week for almost a month, doing some work at the DOW Plant. Very well priced, but get your microwaveable food down the street (if you don't want to make a drive to a restaurant).

My husband and I have stayed here at least 4 times this year and multiple times last year. We have always been very satisfied with each stay. We will stay here again and again. The management and staff are all very friendly and ready to help when needed. Our rooms are always very clean and tidy. The property is always nice and neat. It’s very quite and we feel very safe ( including the parking lot).
