For a 3-star hotel in the centre of it all, this is a good choice. The rooms are a decent size however it can be noisy if your room is facing the street with lines etc. Pool is nice but small. Breakfast basic. However, this is all offset by the central location and clean, simple hotel.

where do all the 5 star reviews come from? We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and would give it 2 stars rather than 3. The location is ok, there are many small shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel was probably built for the Instagram generation. The interior design is really something special and a treat for the eye. The rooms with a fully glazed sanitary area are also small, but beautiful. There is a refrigerator in the room, but it is only for decoration and does not cool. The bed is large and much more comfortable than is usual in Vietnam. Everything is unfortunately only beautiful for the eyes, not for the ears. There isn't much soundproofing. We noticed the love in the next room as well as the flushing of the toilet in the room above and the argument in the corridor. This is simply a NO-GO for such a hotel. The bar was closed when we wanted a drink at 23.00. Breakfest is not served, but there is a coffee machine in the lobby. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we never saw anyone eat and there were so many choices next door. If you're in the area, this is the perfect spot for a drink and a dozen selfies, but I wouldn't recommend it for an overnight stay.

The Odys is a tricky one for us to review. Overall we stayed 3 nights during our trip, 2 nights together then a break and a further night after a trip to the mekong. The hotel itself is quite nice.. nothing really wrong with it as such, the rooms were clean and had everything in there like all the others we've stayed in during our time in Vietnam. I wouldn't really call the Odys a ”Boutique” hotel but that's a matter of opinion.. but where we feel the Odys was a let down in this regard was that ”personal” feeling. Earlier in our trip we stayed in many places and all of them without question made us feel like we'd been before.. and in the case of multiple nights and multiple visits indeed the return welcome felt very personal (Bonsella.. you are the best in this regard during our trip!). The staff in reception were pleasant and polite but but it did seem very ”clinical” in approach? Maybe the city thing? But in our opinion it was a little too sterile feeling for a ”boutique” hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was fine, with the usual options available but the staff in the restaurant were our least preferred of the whole trip (anywhere in Vietnam), they were disorganised to say the least.. There were plenty of them around but service wasn't exactly the best. We did take advantage of one of the offers for the restaurant one night, booking a table by the side for a good city view. When we arrived that evening we find that the table we booked had been given to someone else, and in fact there was no mention of our booking. We waited and before long another suitable table became available. After eating we got the bill, and queried why the offer wasn't applied. We were told in order to get the offer we needed to book a table beforehand, this was by the very same person who led us to the table after finding out our booked table had already been given to someone else. It was sorted out, but this is just one of many examples of the staff not being the best. Oddly enough it was also the only place in Vietnam where we struggled with staff not being able to speak English (very few seemed to?), this took us by surprise as even in the remote locations in the north this didn't seem an issue. So In summary, we think this hotel is ok for the night, but that boutique feel is not there, its much more of a large hotel kind of feeling.

Es bietet im Wesentlichen vier-Sterne-Komfort zum Preis eines Mittelklasse-Hotels. Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Poolbereich, der nach einem langen Arbeitstag abgewinden wird. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber komfortable & doppelt verglaste Glass macht sie schön und ruhig. sind gut ausgestattet und bieten alles, was Sie brauchen, einschließlich einer gut funktionierenden Internet-Verbindung (Wi-Fi). Das englische Sprecherpersonal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Einkaufszentrum mit Restaurants ist ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und funktional, auch wenn die Dekoration ein wenig date. Ich würde nicht wählen, wo es ist, aber es ist ein absolutes Ja, wenn Sie in der Nähe des Flughafens sein und einen angemessenen Preis zahlen wollen

Being an avid traveller and enjoys staying in various 5 star hotels across the world, Sofitel Saigon plaza hotel has not let us down. Special shout-out to front office supervisor Vy Thuc (Abbie) for our check-in process smooth and makes us feel warmly welcomed when we just reached the hotel. Room was clean and decently sized. The king size bed was so comfortable that feels like home. Breakfast selection was great with nice modern vibe. Overall our hotel stay was nothing short of magnificent but what makes Sofitel Saigon special is their hospitality and impeccable service. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again for our next Vietnam trip! :)

Takashiyama Malls haben viele Lebensmittel, Kaffee und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten -Service: Hotelpersonal freundlich und willkommen, hilfsbereit mit Abreise / Gepäck; Personal hilfsbereit, Spa-Dienste nicht weit vom Hotel zu organisieren -Check-in: Schnell-Check-in-Service trotz der späten Ankunft am Tag -Zimmer: komfortable Bett, gute Menge Platz für Arbeit im Zimmer (ein langes Büro plus ein Ausbruch mit zwei Hochstuhl) -Komplimentarische Getränke im Zimmer (weiche Getränke, Wasser, Bier) -Personal ging oben und darüber, um ein Ersatzzimmer zu organisieren eines der Abende, um einen Anruf zu nehmen -Schwimmbad mit schöner Aussicht; war nicht zu beschäftigt Cons: -preis ziemlich nahe zu größeren 5* Hotels aber fühlten sich wie allgemeiner Service und Einrichtungen mehr ähnlich zu einem kleineren Butique Hotel (z. B. niemand willkommen außerhalb des Hotels, wenn Sie einfach anmelden, nicht klar, ob das Hotel einen Spa hat) -Zimmer-Design: Höher Stock, aber Design des Zimmers macht es sich ziemlich dunkel gegenüber einer Panoramablick

The hotel was clean and the interior of the room made us relaxed and calm. We really enjoyed the room and the view from our room was amazing. And for the hotel service, I think the receptionist was okay, but the bell boy was very hospitable and proactive. The check in was speedy, but the staff offer limited information to us, so we had to Google everything. We had a breakfast at the ground floor, but the waitresses’ English wasn’t good enough, so the communication wasn’t really smooth. Last, it was our anniversary trip, so I wrote to the hotel in advance. The hotel replied us timely and saying they were going to arrange some special amenities, but it turned out nothing happened. So It is quite disappointed, and I hope this kind of miscommunication will not happen to other guests.

Wir haben uns entschieden, das chinesische Neujahr im Saigon Hotel zu feiern. Es ist sehr günstig gelegen, um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten im Zentrum zu erreichen Auf dem Weg zum Opernhaus gibt es Geldwechselstuben, und der Wechselkurs ist freundlich zu den Menschen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und kann sich problemlos auf Englisch verständigen. Der schöne Pool des Hotels ist besonders abwechslungsreich Frisch zubereitete, berühmte vietnamesische Reisnudeln, die köstlich sind und eine Verkostung wert sind. Ich war für vier Nächte im Saigon Grand Hotel und hatte eine tolle Zeit. Ich habe den Super-Fünf-Sterne-Service gespürt und einen tollen Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Lage ist direkt hinter dem Kaffee-Apartment. Die Umgebung ist sehr praktisch und der Pool ist sehr schön. Als ich um 23 Uhr zurückkam, um etwas zu essen Geschirr an der Theke, mir wurde gesagt, dass es kein Geschirr gäbe, weil das Restaurant geschlossen sei! ? Sie stellen nur zwei Flaschen Wasser zur Verfügung. Das ist im Vergleich zu ihrer Vier-Sterne-Bewertung und den Gebühren unangemessen. Ich habe die Rezeptionistin gebeten, ein Auto zu rufen Nachdem ich zurückkam, war ich weiterhin besorgt, aber ich denke immer noch, dass ich bei meinem zweiten Besuch nicht hier bleiben werde
