We’re in Downers Grove, just off the I-88 and around half an hour’s drive from downtown Chicago. The Alter Brewing Company is 3 miles away and the Morton Arboretum is 10 minutes from us. Enjoy our heated indoor pool, fitness center and weekly managers reception. Our comfortable suites all feature fully equipped kitchenettes.
Chef Jeffrey Dobbs was outstanding and the bartender David made a very good Old Fashioned for me. Chef Jeffrey cooked up a salmon dinner perfectly. He also whipped up a delicious dessert of ice cream, chocolate brownie with fudge sauce. Chef came out to say hello and was quite personable. Five plus stars for Chef Jeffrey!!!! Your people at the front desk in the PM hours were not the sharpest and or attentive. Walked by the front desk many times since I stayed at this property five nights on two different business trips. The evening front desk group looked as if they did very little to nothing productive. Just standing at the front desk waiting for their shift to be over. Note: There were other more competent looking and productive people at the front desk that showed interest in what they were doing during the morning hours. I'll stay at this property again because Maria who is the breakfast hostess in the morning is very nice. Your breakfast selections and quality is excellent. Kudos to Chef Jeff again for the breakfast quality/taste and of course Maria who makes sure each guest is attended to and coffee if hot and ready. See you next time.
Die Hardwarekonfiguration des Hotels ist in Ordnung, die Umgebung ist gut, das Zimmer ist groß. Es wird jedoch eine Resortgebühr erhoben. Es gibt noch einen unangenehmen. Ich vergaß ein Paar Schuhe und fand es am nächsten Tag im Zimmer. Ursprünglich war es meine eigene Sorge, aber das Hotel hat nicht danach gesucht.

Located adjacent to the Drury Lane theater with easy access to main thoroughfares. Clean rooms, nice lobby, friendly service, and there's a restaurant & bar on site. Tho, we always order Chicago-style pizza be delivered to our room - Giordano's deep dish!
We had an unplanned stop in suburban Chicago. Stayed here for the night. Great service, Friendly staff, clean and well kept room, excellent breakfast. Have no issues or complaints. Money well spent. It’s just the location and parking are little confusing but a great stay overall.

Staybridge Suites in Oakbrook, Illinois has the Worst Service Ever! I am in shock and cannot believe what we just experienced at Staybridge Suites. First, we made a reservation for a One Queen, 2 Double, 2 Bedroom Suite. This appeared to be the largest room on the website. We received a call telling us that due to renovations, the room we requested was no no longer available. We were offered 2 king suites as a replacement. We accepted and moved forward with our plans. We made it to the hotel and stood at the desk waiting for the staff to figure out our rooms. After the longest wait we ever had, we finally got to our room, only to find that one of our rooms was not cleaned and the other one was not what we were told. The bed was unmade and trash was in one room on the tables. I went to let the front desk staff know what had happened. Ray Lakes, the general manager (unbelievable!) told us that what we told him we were promised was untrue because that's not a common practice. I told him that we had no reason to lie. He said, they were going to do something for us. Ray spoke with the housekeeper to get the room clean. I was speaking with my friend about the situation. This was quiet conversation and no guests heard us. Ray, who was standing right in front of us, stated that he was trying to do something and we should stop talking about it. I stated that I was speaking with my friend and we were chatting amongst ourselves. Ray said he didn't want us to ruin it for his other guests! This was shocking and I have never heard anyone tell a guest to be quiet so other customers don't hear about their concerns. The other guests did not hear us at all! While we were waiting, my friend asked Ray for his name. When he said his name, I wrote it down. Ray became irritated that I wrote his name down! He then told us that he would rather we leave the hotel! We stood there in shock because this has never happened before! He said he felt like a ”domino effect” was going to happen and calls would be made to the company because I wrote his name down. I told him that was not a reason to put us out of the hotel. Ray Lake said, ”I'm going to cancel your reservation for your own sake.” I was further confused and shocked! We went to get our things and came back to the front desk. I said, ”I have never been put out of a hotel. I run a business and work with clients every day and would never treat anyone like this.” Ray stated that he was not putting us out because we were getting a refund. He said if we were put out, there wouldn't be a refund. I told Ray this is the worst customer service I have ever seen and there was no reason for it. I told him the hotel should be ashamed. He said, ”I won't be insulted by you.” I was more confused. He took offense to everything I said. I told him I was going to record because I could not believe this. He said that was further reason for me to leave his hotel. I asked Ray for the number to complete a customer service complaint. He said
