Dieses Hotel ist seit der letzten Übernachtung vor einem Jahr wirklich in den Hügel gefahren. Erstens, die Profis: Die Betten waren komfortabel. Die Zimmer sind geräumig. Das Front-Desk-Personal war angenehm. Jetzt die Kons: Das Zimmer war schmutzig. Es gab frische Farben auf dem Nachtstuhl neben dem Bett. Die Dusche hatte eine Menge brauner Stifte und Haare aus dem Boden, als wir es zuerst verwendeten (so haben wir in unseren Flip-Flops geduschen). Der Tauch im Badezimmer war nicht gereinigt (oder „gereinigt“ sehr schlecht), da es Handsaft/Wasser-Klebe auf dem Zähler um die Tauchbälle und Haare überall im Tauch gab. Es gab Patch- und Reparatur-Arbeiten, die überall im Zimmer und im Bad auf den Wänden bemerkbar waren, was schrecklich erschien. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht. Das Kleid wurde geschlagen und die Türen schlagen sich gegen sich selbst, wenn jemand im Zimmer ging oder ihre Füße auf den Boden gelegt. Wir hätten versucht, Zimmer zu wechseln, aber wir kamen sehr spät und waren so müde nach dem Fahren 4 Stunden, wir wollten nur schlafen, wie wir wussten, wir hatten einen frühen Morgen am nächsten Tag. Dieses Hotel betrachtet sie als einen Premium-Wohnplatz, wie durch ihren Premium-Preis bewiesen, aber bietet Ihnen eine weit unterhalb der Premium-Erfahrung. Wir werden wahrscheinlich nie wieder hier bleiben, weil es zu viel Geld ist, um auf eine schlechte Erfahrung zu verschwenden.

We were in Fargo over the wk end as my husband was doing food deliveries for Uber Eats and we decided to book a stay at a comfy hotel so could start off early and continue with that the next morning. We chose the Homewood Suites West Fargo as we had stayed at other Homewood Suites locations before and knew the beds to be very comfortable and could get a good nights sleep. The reason why giving this location a 4 star rather than 5 star rating is due to a few minor things....We arrived about a half hour later than the normal check in time for checking into the hotel and our room was still not ready because of that my husband had to pause food deliveries a bit longer than planned waiting till our hotel was ready to get checked in and we waited almost a half hr till it was ready even yet after we had arrived. The lady at the counter offered to downgrade the room to a normal room rather than a suite as it would be ready faster if would want to do that but we had already planned to book a suite already and my husband told her no is alright we will just wait till the room is ready. We were understanding of it as we could be as you never know what might have happened if the person before us had something come up and needed a later checkout or something and it might not have been anything of their control but at the same time if the website has a check in time we had kinda expected the room to be already ready by the time we got there. The room was very clean though all around will say that and very comfortable all around when we did get up to our room and check in process also was very smooth and easy when we were able to get checked in. We also had a minor problem with the dishwasher beeping when we went to our room and there were dishes in it yet, they were all clean though so we just put them away and took a little fan dangling and having to restart the dishwasher but my husband got the dishwasher to finally stop beeping after that. Also was some general wear and tear in the bathroom near the toilet paper roll dispenser but it was overall very clean and had all amenities would need for a good nights stay and good nights sleep. Room was very quiet overall and comfortable and we slept well and bed was very comfortable. The Hotel definently had the potential to be a 5 star rated hotel however were a few quirks that made it not quite up to the standard of some of the other Homewood locations that we had stayed at before. I will say it was priced well though for a weekend that was a great value at this location and so we would still say it's a good location to stay for the price of their rooms and we would give it a try again. You can't really beat Homewood as far as a comfortable hotel bed they have some of the absolute comfiest hotel mattresses around but due to the few minor quirks with it this time we are giving it a 4 rather than 5 stars. Still though overall good choice for value and comfort.

There are two dirty spots on the sheet

The hotel is located in an industrial area, and the outside is very uninviting. It’s right next to a used car dealership. When I arrived, the breakfast area was being worked on, I think being painted, and there were construction materials everywhere. When I checked in and made my way to the room, the workers had their materials blocking the hallway that if I had heavier luggage I wouldn’t have been able to even get past them. I had to step over their work items. The room, however, was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable for the most part, but the heater unit in the room was so loud that I did not sleep well at all. It would run intermittently, regardless of how I adjusted the temperature and settings, and it continually woke me up every time it would click on because of its loudness. It’s so loud that if you’re trying to watch TV when it’s running, you can’t hear the TV. The continental breakfast was horrible. There was barely any items, but perhaps that’s due to the fact that they were having some work done during my stay. I checked in an hour early, which was nice, but there was no one behind the counter when I arrived, and there was no one behind the counter when I was leaving. They do have a phone at the counter to ring for service , but I have a feeling that this particular hotel is minimally staffed. There is a sports bar right next-door though that I walked over to upon my arrival and I really enjoyed the apps and my time there.

Over the course of nearly two weeks, fluctuating numbers of my immediate family stayed here while my mother was hospitalized at Sanford Medical Center. While the proximity to the hospital made it the logical choice, it was the flexibility of the staff that, in retrospect, made it a wise choice as well. Front desk staff were so kind to help us consolidate rooms, cancel reservations WITHOUT PENALTY for nights that we no longer needed, and just generally get to know us and let us know that they were thinking about us. In particular, Misty Blue gets a huge shout out for being such a kind, caring front desk staff member. She sort of adopted us and asked how things were going, let us know that she was thinking about us, and just generally was a wonderful human being. On a lighter note, the hotel bistro/bar was great for a quick breakfast before heading to the hospital or a nightcap after a stressful day AT the hospital. The beds were comfortable too-including the rollaway cot that I slept on one night.
