My husband and I struggle to find a hotel with consistently good service in or near downtown Birmingham. I regularly take early morning flights to see my mother and we live an hour away. I don't drive well in the dark so we stay near the airport for a quick early morning ride. This hotel nearly met and even exceeded out standards on many fronts. We love having the balcony to get fresh air. Far too many people -- even ones who smoke outdoors -- leave the smell of cigarettes in hotel rooms and it's not helpful to anyone who is allergic to smoke like I am. This was a very clean room with fresh air and I loved the upgrade to a suite. The downsides? Well, the woman working at the eating area needed help. My food was room temperature by the time I got it. I didn't complain because she was clearly overwhelmed. Also, the refrigerator in my room was so high, the yogurt I got to eat the next morning was rock hard! Thankfully, the front desk person let me switch it out. But all in all, this is an excellent hotel. I even loved the sounds of the children playing in the pool. You will feel safe here and there are lots of dining options nearby should you not want to pay for the food which is a bit wee, or high, like most hotel food. Still the service was great. My hats off to the workers in this hotel for dealing well with what most businesses are dealing with: small, overworked staffs.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tree House! Beautiful old house with fun artwork and relaxing vibe. Room was VERY clean and bed was very comfortable. Light breakfast and coffee was available but we ate at the nearby Original Pancake House. We felt very comfortable and safe in the neighborhood (and there’s a police station right across the street). There are many places to eat and shop within walking distance, and a book of recommendations was in our room.

I'm surprised there were so many 5 star reviews on this place, its obvious they dont replace things. Yes it looked like they cleaned but only open areas and sheets. Corners were grimy, sink was taped together, roaches were in the bathroom come the morning, there was a very large stain on one of the mattresses but they did cover it with a thicker under blanket that wasnt on the other bed. People were up making noise a good portion of the night, you could hear through the walls very easily, so much traffic noise, I think it was coming through the AC unit in the wall. People were out smoking all over the place and you could faintly smell it in the room as well, like coming through the AC. We just wanted a place to rest for the night and stopped here because it was cheap and had better reviews than hotels that cost a bit more. At least it was cheap, but I didnt even want to shower here.

Der Service war gut. Das Personal half mir, meine Tür zu entschlossen bei der Ankunft. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und aktualisiert. Es waren nicht viel in der Ausstattung, aber ich war nur dort, um eine Nacht zu verbringen und nach einem langen Tag der Reise dieses Zimmer war nur gut für mich. Enttäuscht über das Frühstück, das in das Hotel aufgenommen werden sollte. Die Mitarbeiter sagte, es sei wegen Covid, aber andere Orte, wo ich geblieben habe, haben die Beschränkungen für das Frühstück aufgehoben. Alles, was sie hatten, war ein Tisch, der den Eingang in das Essensbereich mit Flaschen Wasser und einem vorverpackten süßen Rollen blockierte (das war sehr lecker). Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass ein Gourmet-Mahl geschickt wird, aber ich war auf eine Kuchen Getreide und ein paar Orangensaften, bevor ich für einen vollen Tag ausreise.

Would definitely stay here again the room was super clean and smelled welcoming. The property was well kept throughout the hotel and the front desk crew were all very nice people. Parking was free and lot well lit also very nice to be located near the highway.
