Finde Hotels in Hammond

We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Hammond Indiana from 9/29/23 to 10/3/23. We're loyal Marriott customers, but this stay didn't measure up to Courtyard's standards. (We realize that the hotel is in the middle of being redecorated, but our problems had nothing to do with that.) We checked in at midnight on Friday after a long flight delay. The bartender in the ”bistro” told us that breakfast would be served until 11am on Saturday. However, the next day they closed at 10am and we missed breakfast. Would it have killed him to consult some official listing of their hours, instead of just guessing? (However, many thanks to the guy who took pity on us on Saturday and got us some cereal and fruit and leftover coffee, even though they were officially closed.) Speaking of cereal, how is it right for a Courtyard to gradually run out of Kellogg's cereal over the course of a 4-night stay? The first morning there were only two boxes of non-sugary cereal, one (1) Raisin-Bran and one (1) Rice Krispies. We ate them. Then after that first day, it was all sugar-coated so we couldn't have any cereal. Over the following three days there were fewer and fewer little boxes on the shelf. Had they ordered too little? Was it somehow impossible to replenish their stock? On the first day there was fresh fruit in cups for sale. It was good. The following days the unsold cups were STILL in the fridge for sale, no longer fresh. Hello? You have to throw away the old fruit when it doesn't sell, and prepare fresh new fruit for your customers. Our room phone never worked at all. We asked at least twice. We understand that there may have been a good reason for it being out of order. But good customer service would have included a little note saying, ”So sorry, the phone can't be repaired because _____. Have a nice day!” instead of making us wonder if they were even trying to fix it. Likewise, on the first day the desk lamp didn't work. We had to ask twice and it finally worked on the third day. Why didn't they notice that the desk lamp and the phone weren't working and alert us before we checked in? The first day, we asked the cleaners for some extra coffee and hand soap for the sink, and also for hand lotion of which there was none. They said yes. However, not only didn't they give us any of this, they never serviced our room at all. The next day we specifically asked the desk clerk to get us coffee, and hand lotion and hand soap for the sink, but they only got us a small bottle of hand lotion. No coffee. We've never stayed in a nice hotel before that did not automatically stock the bathroom sink with hand soap and hand lotion. And coffee. The first day, there was no liquid soap in the dispenser in the shower. How is that even possible? The cleaners simply need to check the dispenser every day. That's the only reliable system for ensuring that the dispenser will not run out. The third day, although our room was serviced, the cleaners didn't replenish our coffee

Ich habe in diesem Hotel-Reservierungshaus aufgehört, während ich im Geschäftsbereich war. Ich habe das Hotel gewählt, weil ich in den meisten Hotels in der Gegend geblieben habe, wie die drei Marriott-Eigenschaften auf der Straße, das all-neue Holiday Inn Express und das Hampton seit seiner rechten Seitentür an der Byway Brewery. Einer der Gründe, warum ich dieses Hotel gewählt habe, war der Preis. Die meisten Hotels in der Gegend waren extrem hoch.. ( Konvents? Dunes? ) die Nacht. Die Bewertungen scheinen auch für dieses Hotel ziemlich gut zu sein. Zuerst ist dieses Hotel ein wenig von der geschlagenen Straße entfernt, in einem kleinen Alcove von der Autobahn gefangen, aber in einer sicheren Lage gefangen, so ein Stern für das. Es ist auch zwei Minuten von einem Starbucks, JJ Fish und Chicken und über die Straße von Walmart und Cabellas' entfernt. Aus der Sicht der Lage ist es schön in einem sicheren Komplex mit viel Parkplatz. Ich habe ganz einfach auf diese massiven Immobilien geprüft und das Königszimmer, das ich gebucht hatte, bekam. Eincheckung war sauber und das Personal war sehr nett. Ich habe meinen Schlüssel und ging in mein Zimmer. Das Zimmer selbst war nichts Besonderes, es hatte einen schmutzigen Duft, die AC/Wärme-Einheit war ein wenig laut. Es gab einige Chips und Zähne in der Möbel, der Teppich sah alt aus und das Zimmer selbst war ein wenig schmutzig. Mein Badezimmer war spotless und sehr sauber, so dass das ein Plus ist. Ich habe eine gute Nacht schlafen. Der Fitnessraum war ok und niemand nutzte es, es braucht eine Modernisierung. Das coole Ding ist es direkt vom Pool, der die Hauptattraktion der Hotels ist. Ich habe den Pool nicht wirklich benutzt, aber es war mit Kindern und Erwachsenen verpackt. Das Frühstück war eine Spargenehmigung mit mehreren Optionen für den Kalorienzähler und diejenigen, die es verlassen. Das Essen war frisch, gut zubereitet und das Personal, das das Frühstücksraum arbeitete, war aufmerksam und füllte die Lebensmittelstationen, wenn nötig. Pros - Lage, Preis, Pool Cons - Ein wenig auf der müde Seite und in der Notwendigkeit eines Gesichtsaufzugs, Das Fitnesszentrum ist ok, aber könnte die Modernisierung verwenden, keine USB-Porten und schwer zu finden Orte für das Plugin, und die WiFi war ok nicht schnell blasen, aber ich konnte surfen und E-Mails senden. Will ich hier nochmal bleiben? Ich könnte es eine zweite Chance geben.

Usually the Hampton Inns I have stayed in, in the past have been very decent. But this location in Hammond has been consistently 'inconsistent' ! Have been checked into a room which was not cleaned & at other time got a room which was deadlocked from inside & could not get access. There was a time when they ran out of coffee for a whole day! Breakfast is a hit & miss as they run out of basic items like bread, fruits & milk. I requested to speak to the general manager on property twice but no one there. Left my number for them to call me back but no response! Hilton Honors were at least sensitive & took my complaint. Unfortunately not many options in that area & they do not give the same points for a stay in Home2suites as compared to Hampton Inn. I guess it is a cost we have to pay.....hope the property is sensitive to this.

The day manager and man who runs breakfast are an A+. Rooms are clean, comfortable. Parking lot feel safe. Byway Brewing restaurant next door is good. I slept really well and was happy until I came down this morning and the night manager was asleep, snoring at full force in the lobby lounge chairs. I tried calling the hotel phone #...no answer. Complete dereliction of duty. Unsafe and unprofessional. I called IHG. Hopefully, they will do something, because the rest of the visit--hotel and other staff--was terrific.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfreich und reaktiv! Hatte ein großes Problem im Küchensänk und wurde dann unverzüglich angemeldet, dass es gelöst wurde! Ich bin seit einigen Monaten ihr und habe eine warme und freundliche Beziehung mit dem Personal von den Hausbetreibern auf dem ganzen Weg zum Manager entwickelt. Die gleiche großartige Höflichkeit ist auf dem ganzen Weg wiedergegeben! Deshalb habe ich meinen Aufenthalt verlängert, weil sie mich sehr bequem machen!
