Das ist ein erweitertes Aufenthaltshotel, aber wir mögen den Außenzugang (in COVID Zeiten) und der Preis war richtig. Einfache Eincheckung meldeten wir 15 Minuten vor der Ankunft wie angewiesen & jemand war da, um uns zu helfen. Das Zimmer war ein kleines 1-Zimmer-Apt komplett mit Waschmaschine & Trockner! Es war sauber und sehr komfortabel. Großes AC & großes Kabel-TV. Unsere einzigen Probleme waren das Fehlen eines echten Wasserdrucks und die Tür würden nicht von außen schließen, als wir verließen.

Sadly only stayed for one night on a whistle-stop tour through the south, but I think I'll be back. This is one the best hotels I've found in the USA! Staff were all delightful and the building is stunning and beautifully restored. Location is great- in the centre of Big Spring. My room was huge, I only booked a standard double but the room I got could easily pass as a suite. A spacious sitting area, plenty of storage and a good coffee maker with plenty of coffee provided. The ensuite was modern with good water pressure and plenty of toiletries. The pool area is lovely and the restaurant is really good- the servers were so friendly. The bar is also very pleasant. I left in the morning to catch a Greyhound which never showed up, so I went back to the hotel and the guy on reception was only too happy to let me back in to use their WiFi and rethink my plans. He even called a taxi to Midland Airport for me as my international phone wouldn't make calls in the US. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of Settles- and Big Spring in general- both are well worth a visit if you're passing through.

Ich hatte eine Buchung online gemacht, aber als wir ankamen konnte sie nicht gefunden werden. Als der Kellner meine Buchung auf meinem Telefon zeigte, wurde festgestellt, dass ich die Buchung für November töricht gemacht hatte. Ich habe es gelöscht und sofort eine weitere Reservierung für diese Nacht gemacht. Clerk war sehr angenehm und verständlich. Sie sah den Humor in ihm. Das Zimmer war sauber und nett. Wir verbrachten dort nur ein paar Stunden, weil wir an einer Familienveranstaltung teilnahmen. Insgesamt war es ein guter Aufenthalt. Mein einziger Beschwerde ist, dass es keinen Schwimmbad gab.

I speak to all the crew on staff ask them for things I may need done while my stay there. Every time I ask for something it’s always done at that time. The rooms clean food is great customer service is there. I give this place a 10/10
