Das Hotel war Bestandteil unserer Portugal-Rundreise. Das Hotel liegt zwar nicht zentral, trotzdem kann das Zentrum gut zu Fuss erreicht werden und auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind in der Nähe. Das Hotel ist oft von Gruppen besucht und daher kann es am Morgen-Buffet etwas hektisch werden. Das Zimmer selber ist eigentlich eher altmodisch, trotzdem sind das Bad und auch der Fernseher relativ neu. Das Hotel ist sicherlich kein Highlight, aber es bietet alles was ein Stadthotel braucht.

Das ist ein modern eingerichtetes Apartmenthotel im funktionalen IKEA-Stil. Die Einrichtung inklusive Küchenzeile mit einem Geschirrspüler sowie Kaffeepad-Maschine ist in einem sehr guten und sauberem Zustand. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wenn man Frühstück dazu bucht, bekommt man zwischen 6:30 und 7:00 Uhr eine Box vor die Tür geliefert. Ich finde es praktisch; so konnte ich auf dem Balkon mein Frühstück genießen. Das Hotel ist fussläufig nicht weit von der historischen Altstadt entfernt. Mit Google Map lässt sich alles erkunden.

We stayed for 3 nights in this guest house. It is basic, clean with great staff and one of the few budget friendly places that offers breakfast also. The location is great; you can walk to almost all attractions (depending on how much you want to walk); and surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants. It is in a beautiful, old home and the details are great- if you are in that sort of thing. The good: - The staff is amazing. Every one we met was great and very helpful. The front desk person-Emerson: gave us great guidance on what to see, how to club things to get the most out of our day, where to find good restaurants, etc. - We got there sooner than our check in time, and they let us keep our luggage there, offered water etc. -Our room was ready when we got back and our luggage was put in the room - Breakfast was simple- coffee, boiled eggs, baked goods, toast, butter, jam, fruit and some meats. The breakfast was handled by the sweetest Iracema and she was amazing. They give freshly squeezed orange juice and it's amazing. We had read in reviews that there were options to given to other travelers for scrambled eggs but we did not get that option- but that's ok. We missed breakfast one day as we had to step out early but when we told Emerson he made sure the next day they let us have breakfast 15 mins before so we won't miss it. - The room was very clean. It was small- which is expected of European hotels, but was as advertised and had everything we needed. The covered balcony gave us the extra space and we enjoyed it. - They give you wine as a welcome drink- which is nice. They also offered beer and I am not sure it's a norm; maybe it was done as a special thin-due to the first 'not so good' point below. The not so good: -It was hot the 2 out of 3 nights we were there. When we went to our room after it was ready the room was stuffy and hot. There are no fans and the Air conditioning unit was throwing warm air. So we went and told the front desk associate who told us that the there was an issue with the Air conditioning unit in that room and their repair person was sick so he can not get anyone there till a day later and it will be fixed then (2 nights out of 3 nights of our stay). This annoyed us as this should have been something that should have been mentioned when we checked in. We asked can we move to another room and were told there were no other rooms empty. We asked for a fan and they gave us one. They also told us to open the windows as it cools down in the night and that should help- so we did as it very hard to sleep in the room without that. That led to another issue-mosquitoes. So we did not get a good night's sleep 1st night fighting hot stuffy room and/or mosquitoes . On day 2 ( Sunday) I requested again and told about the mosquito issue; I was told they are trying to get another repair man. Buon hotel. Non è nel centro storico ma poco lontano. Si trova in prossimità di due stazioni metro, la più vicina è Marques che si trova a 500 metri. Non abbiamo trovato grosse difficoltà nel parcheggiare la macchina, specie la domenica. Stanza pulita abbastanza grande, bagno completo di bidet. Staff molto attento, hanno rapidamente sistemato un piccolo problema di manutenzione. Letti molto comodi. Buona la prima colazione con vasta scelta di dolce e salato e frutta. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Wir mussten eine letzte Minute buchen. Unsere Hauptkriterien für das Hotel waren Reinigung, Basierend auf den Bewertungen dieses Hotel war das, was wir suchten. Wir gab es einen Versuch und waren nicht enttäuscht. Das Hotel war wirklich sehr sauber. Die Zimmer waren etwas klein, aber sie waren schön dekoriert. Das Hotel war etwa 20-25 min Fußabstand vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Wir wollten nicht gehen. Die meisten Zeiten waren wir nach 9 Uhr wieder im Hotel zurück, und wir fühlten uns nie unsicher, in diesem Bereich zu gehen. Kostenloses Frühstück war ein angenehmer Bonus. Frühstück war ausreichend. Ich wünschte nur, dass sie eine kleine Variante hatten. Wir blieben dort 4 Nächte und sie bieten fast das gleiche Essen jeden Tag an. Ein weiterer Raum für Verbesserung ist Balkonmöbel, Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon, mit zwei geputzten Stühlen auf. Wir nahmen am selben Tag nach dem Regen ins Hotel ein, während unseres Aufenthalts konnten wir nie Zeit auf dem Balkon verbringen, weil die Sitze nass waren. Jeder, der dort arbeitete, war großartig und extrem hilfreich. Alle unsere Sorgen wurden ernst genommen und wir erhielten immer maximale Hilfe und Aufmerksamkeit. Besonderes Dank an den Kerl, der am Abendwechsel arbeitete! Er war erstaunlich. Es tut mir leid, ich kann seinen Namen nicht erinnern. Ich würde dort nochmal bleiben und empfehlen dieses Hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti in questo hotel. Lo stile è retrò ma con tocchi di modernità, l’ho trovato esteticamente carino. Non essendoci l’ascensore è un po’ scomodo per le valigie. Il personale molto cortese e simpatico 😀 La camera tripla assegnata era abbastanza datata e non molto spaziosa. Il condizionatore un po’ complesso da accendere (il telecomando non aveva lo scomparto delle pile. Le pile erano tenute con dello scotch 😅). Il bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Il lavandino perdeva e personalmente ho avuto difficoltà a lavarmi perché i set del doccia schiuma consisteva in buste da 10ml l’una…. Vi conviene comprare un docciaschiuma. La colazione l’ho trovata molto buona! C’erano dolci tradizionali e artigianali, non le solite cose confezionate. E sempre rifornita. Personalmente non abbiamo usufruito del loro parcheggio perché nella via di fronte, a nemmeno 100 metri credo, abbiamo trovato parcheggio non a pagamento. Nella zona mi sembra di aver visto molti parcheggi gratuiti 😁 come detto da altri è molto comoda con la fermata della metro.

Hôtel bien situé par rapport au centre ville en haut de la rue Santa Catarina, la rue piétonne du centre. Bien sur il faut la monter, mais c'est le cas de toutes les rues à Porto, ville où l'on grimpe tout le temps, encore plus qu'à Lisbonne. Station de métro Bolhao proche, tous commerces et restaurants de toutes catégories à 5 minutes à pied (à condition évidemment de grimper au retour , ça aide à digérer). On a fait un séjour en 2 temps: la première chambre était sur la rue, un peu exiguë mais très correcte, à notre retour en fin de semaine on a eu une grande chambre coté jardins au 4ème étage, impeccable. Petit déjeuner très abondant, plein de bolos (sucreries) et bon Réception et personnel aux petits soins , fournissant plein d'explications touristiques pratiques. Pour les motorisés il y a un parking et un loueur de voitures sous l'hôtel ça peut servir... Enfin pour nos chers compatriotes français râleurs il y a en journée Isabelle, la perle des réceptionnistes, francophone accomplie, et comme tous ses collègues de l'hôtel très aimable. En conclusion une bonne adresse à recommander pour un séjour à Porto
