Es war ein sehr ordentliches Hotel mit sehr zuvorkommendem Personal. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Unser Flug ging sehr früh und wir hatten es vergessen anzukündigen. Allerdings war die Rezeption morgens schon um 6 Uhr besetzt. Würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Der Strand und das gesamte Gelände, also die ganze Bucht, sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind dagegen eine Katastrophe. Beispielsweise muss man sich Geschirr, Besteck usw selbst zusammensammeln - oder man muss locker 30 Minuten warten, bis man alles bekommt. Und den Gestank im WC haben sie nicht komplett weg bekommen (es wurde nur erträglicher). Aber das Tala Bay Areal ist einfach sehr schön, dort gibt es alles (fußläufig), was man sich wünscht: Geschäfte, Restaurants und alles direkt am Wasser. Und, wie alle Resorts am Roten Meer ist es viel zu teuer.

Talabay ist im Allgemeinen ein schöner Ort, besonders für Familien. Ich war schon mehrere Male dort. Meistens war es überdurchschnittlich, aber dieses Mal war es schlecht. Wir waren eine fünfköpfige Familie mit zwei Kindern. Wir mieteten eine Villa mit privatem Pool. In den folgenden Bereichen besteht viel Verbesserungsbedarf: 1. Die Villa war nicht sauber, als wir eincheckten. 2. Der Pool war nicht sauber. 3. Der für die Reinigung des Pools zuständige Mann kam erst am zweiten Tag, nachdem wir nach dem Housekeeping gerufen hatten. Er platzte einfach herein, ohne Rücksicht auf die Privatsphäre. Er sagt, er wisse nicht, dass der Ort belegt sei!!!!! 4. Wir bekamen nur einen Schlüssel, obwohl wir eine fünfköpfige Familie sind. Die Überlaufabdeckung des Pools ist schlecht gewartet und meiner Meinung nach gefährlich, wenn man versehentlich darauf tritt. Sie gibt nach.

Wir haben das Beyond Wadi Rum Camp auf Empfehlung von Freunden und der guten Bewertungen gewählt. Die Freunde waren zufrieden, haben lediglich von laut grölenden Gruppen junger Leute aus Italien berichtet, was wir aber nicht überbewertet haben, weil es ja ein irrer Zufall sein müsste, wenn wir während unseres Aufenthalts auch eine solche Gruppe als Mitgäste hätten...... Weit gefehlt. Hier eine neutrale Bewertung: Das Camp an sich ist schön. Geräumige Zelte mit zwei Betten oder einem Doppelbett, kleinem Nachttisch, zusätzlichen Decken, Licht, alles sauber. Das Gemeinschaftsbad mit ca. 5 Duschen und 5 WC ist ebenfalls völlig in Ordnung und auch sauber. Das Hauptzelt ist sehr schön mit ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten. Es gibt eine Außenterrasse, die leider sehr ungepflegt ist und heruntergekommen wirkt. Zum Sitzen reicht es, aber schön ist es nicht. Das Camp liegt ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt von Wadi Rum Village entfernt, leider umgeben von diversen anderen Camps. Das kann man dem Camp nicht vorwerfen, aber uns hat es wirklich gestört, dass man, wohin der Blick auch geht, ein anderes Camp sieht. Insbesondere abends, wenn man eigentlich in der Wüste einen schönen Sternenhimmel ansehen möchte, ist dies ernüchternd. Das betrifft aber sicherlich alle Camps in der offensichtlich mit Camps nur so zugepflasterten Wüste. Das Wüstenfeeling haben wir im Oman deutlich schöner erlebt. Das Essen im Camp könnte man wohlwollend als „in Ordnung“ bezeichnen, ist jedoch mit 12 JOD für das Abendessen absolute Abzocke. Das wäre alles noch hinzunehmen bzw. auch in Ordnung. Was aber unglaublich schlecht war, ist der Service: -bei Ankunft wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass bzw. wo es Wasser gibt, es wurde uns einfach nur unser Zelt gezeigt, die Toiletten waren verschlossen, wir mussten erst lange jemanden suchen, der sie geöffnet hat -das Abendessen wurde für 20 Uhr angekündigt, um 20:45 Uhr ging es dann ganz langsam los -das für 7 Uhr angekündigte Frühstück ging einen Tag um 7:30 Uhr los, am anderen Tag um 7:50 Uhr, was für Mitgäste, die einen Transfer gebucht hatten, unangekündigt zu spät war (alle Gäste saßen im Hauptzelt, warteten auf Frühstück und wunderten sich, dass keine Mitarbeiter da waren. lediglich zwei Mitarbeiter schliefen währenddessen noch auf dem Boden im Hauptzelt -als das Frühstück kam, gab es keinerlei „sorry“ und erst recht kein Lächeln -ein Lächeln gab es von den Angestellten (offensichtlich alles Familie) sowieso nicht. Im Camp waren ALLE Mitarbeiter NICHT freundlich, wir haben uns NICHT willkommen gefühlt. Wir haben uns auch mit anderen Gästen ausgetauscht, die dies genauso empfanden -die Mitarbeiter waren in jeder Situation gelangweilt von uns Gästen, wir haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt -nachdem dem Camp am Abend das Wasser ausgegangen war, wurde neues besorgt und sollte dann teuer bezahlt werden. Wie bitte???? Grund war wohl der, dass die charmante Gruppe Wasser für den nächsten Tag eingesteckt hatte, was natürlich auch nicht geht!!!!! Dennoch kann es nicht

Tolles Hotel, stilvolle Zimmer, modern. Vom WC kann man durch die Dusche durch das Zimmer raus aus dem Fenster aufs Meer schauen (es gibt aber auch elektrische Jalousien). Sehr sauber. Schöne großzügige Hotelanlage. Pool und Strandbereich leicht zugänglich und schön gestaltet. Yogamatten verfügbar. Frühstück war an 2x Tagen serviert am Platz, an 1x Tag in Buffetform, abhängig von der Anzahl der Gäste. Landestypisches Essen. Es wird kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt, man dürfte aber eigenen Alkohol mitbringen. Direkter Zugang zum Meer und Riff zum Schnorcheln. Für 10 Jordanische Dinar können Taucherbrille Schnorchel und Flossen ausgeliehen werden. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs Mitte Dezember war es sehr leer mit nur einer Handvoll anderer Gäste. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und bringt sofort Handtücher am Pool, hilft Liegen umzudrehen etc. Negativer Punkt: weit weg von der Stadt, weitern Restaurants. Ein Shuttle wäre toll. Für einen ruhigen Hotel/Pool/Strandurlaub aber super zu empfehlen.

Super freundliche Angestellt Hotel. Das Red ist wohl das beste Restaurant in der Stadt. Super essen, das Fleisch pwrfekt auf die Minute gebraten und die Angestellten super zuvorkommend. Beim essen hat Khaled uns seine Empfehlungen ausgesprochen und die passten super zum ganzen essen! Wenn ihr dort esst, schaut das Khaled euch bedient. ;)

Einrichtungen: Einige sind alt, aber Parkplätze sind kostenlos, es ist immer noch sehr bequem, aber kostenloses Bergwasser wird täglich in den beiden Tagen, in denen wir leben, gesendet. Es ist sehr atmosphärisch für das jordanische Hotel.
Dienst: Es ist nicht einfach, ob der kleine Bruder der Rezeption oder die Gastsicherheit zu empfinden! Wir sitzen im ersten Stock des offenen Cafés (Straße) und trinken Kaffee, wenn Touristen sich freuen, die Gäste zu begrüßen, wird die Sicherheit auch freundlich kommen und uns helfen, unnötige Belästigung und Hunger zu beseitigen und sicherzustellen, dass übermäßig schwache Männer Touristen gehen, wenn er wieder weg ist! Dieser Service ist großartig!

GGuest UserDas Bedouin Garden Village liegt ca. 15 Minuten Autofahrt unterhalb von Aqaba, ganz in der Nähe des Berenice Beach Club. Zum Meer und Strand sind es nur 150 Meter. In der näheren Umgebung findet man ein paar weitere Guesthouses mit Restaurants sowie ein Restaurant/einen Imbiss am Strand. Der Strand selbst verfügt zudem über kostenlose Sonnenschirme.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre im Garden Village sehr ruhig und relaxed. Das Ambiente bietet viele schattige Plätzchen welche zum Verweilen und Entspannen im Schatten einladen, teilweise aber könnte man die Polster der Bedouinen-Sitzecken mal waschen oder putzen. Es war zwar nicht dreckig, allerdings auch nicht 100% sauber.
Im Bedouin Garden Village befindet sich eine Tauchschule mit freundlichem, lustigem aber auch kompetenten Personal und guter Ausrüstung. Die Tauchgänge waren sehr entspannt und dennoch interessant, selbst für erfahrene Taucher.
Das Frühstück war leider relativ einfach: es gab Fladenbrot, Frischkäseecken (allerdings lagen diese lange in der Wärme), Marmelade und einen Teller mit Hummus, Ei, Bohnen, etwas Obst und etwas Gemüse. Satt gemacht hat es trotzdem. Die Mittags- und Abendkarte ist leider auch nicht sonderlich umfangreich: es gibt viel Gefrorenes (Fisch, Hamburger, Calamari), ein paar Salate und ein paar Hähnchengerichte. Satt wird man, schlecht schmeckt es nicht, allerdings auch nicht besonders ”wow” - angesichts der abgeschiedenen Lage, ist die Auswahl an Restaurants vor Ort allerdings begrenzt.
Die Zimmer waren einfach aber dennoch funktional eingerichtet mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank.
Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft um ein paar Tage in ruhiger Umgebung abzuschalten.

GGuest UserDas Maswada Plaza Hotel ist ein altes Rundown Hotel, das eine vollständige Renovierung braucht. Es ist nichts wie das, was Sie in den Bildern sehen, die Sie dort sehen. Zimmer sind schmutzig die Matratzen haben Bettwäsche. Meine Frau und ich hatten über uns ganze Stücke von Bettwäsche. Das Bad hatte in der Dusche und im Dusch geformt. Es war so schlecht, wir hatten Angst, die Dusche zu verwenden, weil wir Angst haben, etwas zu fangen. Sie haben das Zimmer nicht ganz 3 Tage, die wir in diesem Hotel waren, gereinigt. Das Essen hatte einen Fischtank, der so aussah, als ob es nie mit Schmutz überhaupt gesäubert wurde. Das Essen war so schlecht, wir waren krank und sogar von ihm erbrachten. Sie nahmen keine gesundheitlichen Maßnahmen überhaupt. Das Hotel wird das ganze nicht bestätigen, aber die Tatsache ist alles in dieser Bewertung ist wahr. Ich möchte keine schlechte Bewertung geben, aber in diesem Fall musste man nur die Bilder betrachten.

GGuest UserIch basiere nur auf meinem Bewertungen auf dem Restaurant Seaview, das sehr schön war. Wir saßen draußen und bestellten Burger, die sehr schmackvoll und einen großen Preis waren! Das Personal war auch freundlich. Einen Innensitz war auch verfügbar, aber es war schön, in der Sonne zu sitzen.
