Finde Hotels in Malgrate

We booked the hotel almost 2 months in advance. We booked 2 separate rooms. Upon our arrival, there were only 2 staff members at the reception and it was impossible to get the bags up because of how inconvenient their layout is. You have to climb up a set of 7-8 steps, and a rocky road to reach the hotel. After this already draining task the receptionist informed us about how their ACs aren’t working because of a thunderstorm the day prior, and how there isn’t anything he can do about it. If we knew this information a day prior, we wouldn’t have continued our stay in the hotel. The weather outside was 31-34° c and no one could’ve stayed a night without the AC. They gave us 2 rooms that did have AC but the temperature would’ve go below 23/24°c and it was as good as having no AC. The room was also much smaller than mentioned/shown in the pictures. The staff wasn’t helpful and upon a lot of convincing they said that they were able to get 4 of us 1 room at an extension of their hotel about 5-6 minutes away. We argued with them stating 1 room is clearly not enough for 3 adults and 15 year old, and that our booked was for 2 rooms, so it’s their responsibility to accommodate the same. Overall a terrible experience and the hotel had a complete lack of staff. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone else since the staff lack the basic courtesy to inform their clients about any problems occurring in the hotel which can clearly affect their stay. The extension of the hotel ended up being much better since it was recently renovated, had a better location & most importantly had a working AC which was a must during the summer here at Como.

Das Frühstück ist recht reichhaltig, die Aussicht ist auch sehr gut, das Zimmer ist relativ sauber, beim nächsten Mal kann man bei Gelegenheit wieder von diesem Hotel aus einchecken, und es gibt einen Parkplatz

Wir suchten das Hotel hier bei Tripadvisor aus. Eine große Auswahl fanden wir in Lecco nicht, es waren nur acht Hotels aufgeführt. Sehr kurzfristig und über Ostern. Wir hatten das Zimmer 102. Die Lüftung im Bad war laut wie in einer Fabrik, Fenster halten den Lärm der Straße nicht fern, durch Zimmertür dringt der Lärm von Rezeption und Treppenhaus, es herrscht permanenter Verkehrslärm. Zimmertür komplett Lärmdurchlässig. Hauptverkehrsstraße. Fenster kann man daher nicht öffnen. Matratze hat Qualität wie vor 20 Jahren, bretthart. Es hat noch einen Lattenrost… Die Bitte nach etwas zum drunterlegen wurde uns zunächst abgelehnt. Faltete dann die Zudecke und legte sie mir drunter. Am Folgetag bekamen wir eine neue Wolldecke. Minibar war ausgeschaltet. Die Dusche in der Badewanne ist der reine Witz. Treppenhaus riecht nach Essen. Mein Intimbereich fällt der persönlichen Standardisierung einer Putzfrau zum Opfer. Meine klare Ansage, das wir keinen Service wollen, wurde am zweiten Tag ignoriert, obwohl es erneut von uns verboten wurde. Das ist ein NOGO!!!! Alle Handtücher, die wir weiter benutzt hätten wurden unnötig in die Wäsche geworfen. Meine Unterbett Konstruktion wurde verändert. Das Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Einen Kaffeeautomaten für die Anzahl von Gästen zu wenig. Siebträgermaschine nicht vorhanden. Es gibt auch eine Saftmaschine, man kann jedoch auch richtig gut ausgepressten Orangensaft bestellen. Wird aber nicht gesagt. Außer gekochten Eiern keine Eierspeisen möglich. Öffentlicher Parkplatz gebührenpflichtig hinter dem Haus. Wenn man Pech hat, ist der voll und man steht bis zu 30 Minuten in der Schlange, bis genug herausgefahren sind. Kosten etwa 10-12,- Euro pro Nacht. Das Zimmer war gut anzusehen und sehr sauber. Trotzdem nicht 135,- Euro am Tag wert.

Das Hotel ist top gelegen. Es sieht relativ modern aus. Das Beste waren die Mitarbeiter. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider hat es keine eigene Tiefgarage, es sind jedoch genügend kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Was bleibt in Erinnerung? Die schönen ausgestellten Bilder im Hotel, die kostenlosen Erfrischungsgetränke an der Rezeption und das gute Frühstück im Freien.

An exceptionally clean hotel with the towels and bedding changed on a regular basis. A comprehensive breakfast which is exceptional for an Italian hotel. The quality of the restaurant food was equally good and the service inside the restaurant ( thank you Luca) was equally amazing. In fact all of the staff from the receptionist to the room cleaners were friendly, considerate and efficient. A lively location with a backdrop of lakes and mountains.
