The property is impeccably maintained inside and outside the houses. The home is beautiful – the views are better than they appear in the photographs. Plenty of landscaped shrubbery, and it's a balm for city-sore eyes. The air is crisp, and quiet. Do request for a bonfire, and spend time walking outdoors to witness a star-filled night sky. A spot table tennis, pool, and chess were nice options (although the equipment need a touch-up). Right from Biju, the gatekeeper, each staff member is not only courteous but friendly, helpful, and skilled – most hospitable and nice to interact with. Susheel, the General Manager, was a delight to meet – he showed us around the plantations, introducing us to the fruits and vegetables they grow there, extended to us a lovely beetroot halwa on the house, and suggested a scenic route to drive back to Kochi. Shakti Raj, the day manager, was equally helpful in suggesting places to visit nearby, and serviced every request we had. The food is deliciously prepared, and the range is quite something in an otherwise sparse culinary stretch. While the tandoor was closed, their curries, desserts, and more make a fine spread. Their complimentary breakfast was very good indeed – the idiappam and egg roast as well as the puttu and peanut curry call for special mention. Plenty to do nearby: Kolukkumalai for sunrise (you get jeeps outside the property), Surianalle tea factory (you can pick up their teas and other spices from Siena), Tata Tea Museum, Top Station view point, and more. I'll be looking to visit again. They have another property at Thekkadi – Springdale, if of interest.

Was a great stay that we had at The Regalia; really good service. Food was very well done, much appreciated. The rooms and premises are kept really clean, and is peaceful and relaxing. The views from the hotel over the lake is fantastic. Special mention for Justin who called up ahead and provided clear directions to the hotel. Another big plus is that the hotel is enroute to Kolukkumalai - An incredible visual experience that should not be missed. A really early start is required, have to be ready by 5.00 AM for the hired jeep ride. The trail to the viewing point is 7 kms, and is just rocks on a mud path; takes 1 hour one way. But the view is more than worth the effort. Overall, really happy with the stay, three of us rode up on our motorcycles.

The property is easily accessible, clean and the staff was very friendly and approachable. There are many restaurants around this property and Purple Munnar has their own food court. We had visited this food court 2nd day morning for complimentary breakfast, but the food was so good that we had our dinner and lunch as well from this place. Definitely, worth staying place.

Lake Zone resort is the place to stay when visiting Chinnakanal, Munnar, Suryanelli or any of the stunning locations in the area. From the moment of arrival to the moment of check out, the service from the hotel manager and the other staff was exceptional. There are staff on call 24/7 so there is always someone to cater to you needs, but also it provides a homely and secure environment. The rooms were exceptionally furnished and were adequately sized, but the main highlight is the view. We were lucky to stay in the Lake View rooms with a truly stunning vista overlooking Anayirangal lake, which we were able to view from the veranda and our rooms. When staying at Lake Zone, there is no need to search for places to eat elsewhere. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort where there is a wide variety of dishes on offer; it was lovely to have our meals on the veranda overlooking the mountains. The resort has direct contacts to trusted tour guides who will take you on a Jeep ride to see the sunrise at Kollukamalai. Seeing the spectacular views with the mist shrouding the mountains is truly unforgettable. All in all, a truly magical holiday, and much of that is down to the outstanding service provided at the Lake Zone resort.

GGastnutzerHotel is very good waram welcome by staff on artival food quality is very good. the staff very polite and friendly our room was nice and clean very good view from room evening campfire was very good we are enjoyed . the manager kindly arranged a tea plantation vist and trek for us the senic beauty has been restored in my eyes forever Awesome experience . Thanks for fort munnar team such a memorable stay.

Was a great stay that we had at The Regalia; really good service. Food was very well done, much appreciated. The rooms and premises are kept really clean, and is peaceful and relaxing. The views from the hotel over the lake is fantastic. Special mention for Justin who called up ahead and provided clear directions to the hotel. Another big plus is that the hotel is enroute to Kolukkumalai - An incredible visual experience that should not be missed. A really early start is required, have to be ready by 5.00 AM for the hired jeep ride. The trail to the viewing point is 7 kms, and is just rocks on a mud path; takes 1 hour one way. But the view is more than worth the effort. Overall, really happy with the stay, three of us rode up on our motorcycles.

The property is impeccably maintained inside and outside the houses. The home is beautiful – the views are better than they appear in the photographs. Plenty of landscaped shrubbery, and it's a balm for city-sore eyes. The air is crisp, and quiet. Do request for a bonfire, and spend time walking outdoors to witness a star-filled night sky. A spot table tennis, pool, and chess were nice options (although the equipment need a touch-up). Right from Biju, the gatekeeper, each staff member is not only courteous but friendly, helpful, and skilled – most hospitable and nice to interact with. Susheel, the General Manager, was a delight to meet – he showed us around the plantations, introducing us to the fruits and vegetables they grow there, extended to us a lovely beetroot halwa on the house, and suggested a scenic route to drive back to Kochi. Shakti Raj, the day manager, was equally helpful in suggesting places to visit nearby, and serviced every request we had. The food is deliciously prepared, and the range is quite something in an otherwise sparse culinary stretch. While the tandoor was closed, their curries, desserts, and more make a fine spread. Their complimentary breakfast was very good indeed – the idiappam and egg roast as well as the puttu and peanut curry call for special mention. Plenty to do nearby: Kolukkumalai for sunrise (you get jeeps outside the property), Surianalle tea factory (you can pick up their teas and other spices from Siena), Tata Tea Museum, Top Station view point, and more. I'll be looking to visit again. They have another property at Thekkadi – Springdale, if of interest.

GGastnutzerLake Zone resort is the place to stay when visiting Chinnakanal, Munnar, Suryanelli or any of the stunning locations in the area. From the moment of arrival to the moment of check out, the service from the hotel manager and the other staff was exceptional. There are staff on call 24/7 so there is always someone to cater to you needs, but also it provides a homely and secure environment. The rooms were exceptionally furnished and were adequately sized, but the main highlight is the view. We were lucky to stay in the Lake View rooms with a truly stunning vista overlooking Anayirangal lake, which we were able to view from the veranda and our rooms. When staying at Lake Zone, there is no need to search for places to eat elsewhere. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort where there is a wide variety of dishes on offer; it was lovely to have our meals on the veranda overlooking the mountains. The resort has direct contacts to trusted tour guides who will take you on a Jeep ride to see the sunrise at Kollukamalai. Seeing the spectacular views with the mist shrouding the mountains is truly unforgettable. All in all, a truly magical holiday, and much of that is down to the outstanding service provided at the Lake Zone resort.

GGastnutzerThe property is easily accessible, clean and the staff was very friendly and approachable. There are many restaurants around this property and Purple Munnar has their own food court. We had visited this food court 2nd day morning for complimentary breakfast, but the food was so good that we had our dinner and lunch as well from this place. Definitely, worth staying place.
