We just came back from Cabo de Rama and we want to share our wonderful experience. We looked for a very quiet place to have a rest after a tour in Rajasthan. We are not deceived. We spent 4 nights and we would have liked staying more. The place is so peaceful and wonderful. It's remote, away from the crowd. To join the resort, you walk down ***** the beach and cross a bridge on a river. It's located above the Cabo de Rama Beach among palm trees and greenery. Ther are 9 wooden cottages and 3 tents. The wooden cottages are so comfortable with a nice decoration and stunning view. The beach below is not crowded and sometimes you can be alone. The swimming pool is beautiful with a very nice view on the sea. The whole atmosphere in that resort is so peaceful. All the staff is very helpful, kind and smiling. The food is high quality: fish, prawns, calamari...If you look for a quiet and beautiful place, I think it's definitely the best place in Goa! I hope to come back!

Starting with a positive, the staff were lovely. Happy to try and help, did their jobs well and were kind and polite. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. House keeping was offered daily including bedding change and refilling bottled water. The 'bones' of the hotel are good (comfy beds, decent pillows, good size bath etc) but it has been neglected. The rooms are a good size. The mirrors all have the surface coming away, the internet is poor so the smart TVs don't really work and there are no other channels. The bedding was stained including when it was changed during cleaning and is obviously very old. The window sills were dirty, the bath was dirty, the drawers were all dusty inside and under the pillows the gap behind the bed was dusty bare concrete. The plugs were coming away from the walls, there were no hangers to hang clothes in the wardrobe (which was in the bathroom), the towels were stained. There was a net curtain and light blocking curtains, both sets were musty and dirty to the point I had to wash my hands after opening and closing the. There was a spare mattress kept outside on the porch, during monsoon season. I have stayed in many lower budget hotels but I really didn't want to touch anything in the room and didn't even unpack my bag properly. My son stayed in a separate room and his was the same. There was an overwhelming smell of I'm assuming napthalene balls and mosquito repellant, it lingered the whole time we were there and mosquitos were still in the room despite the plug-in. Breakfast was fine, buffet style - limited options and I would have liked more Child-friendly fresh options but that's personal choice more than a complaint. I don't consider potato smiles and chicken nuggets a breakfast food and would have liked some chopped fruits or healthier cereal type foods for our two year old. Other options included sambar and idli (the idli tasted very sour, and I've eaten a lot of Indian food being married to one), boiled eggs, chicken sausages, donuts and cakes, toast, a veg Indian option that seemed to change daily such as poha or pongal, potato wedges and room temperature fruit juice which was different every day. There were some additional things you could order, some they didn't have available. Staff were prompt to help and prepare things if you asked and they had it. The on-site restaurant food was again fine, but a few things we tried to order they didn't have and it was expensive compared to the usually very reasonably priced local indian food (our food was 6000INR approx and the next day we ate somewhere else for 2300INR for more food) but I would expect to pay a premium for convenience. The pool we probably wouldn't have used as it's monsoon season but it was filthy, as was the glass fencing on the deck where the pool was. The drinks were nice. Food service didn't start until 7 and took a long time to be ready, by which time our 2 year old was struggling and it really wasn't a safe space to have her wandering to ke

Booked to stay here for 3 nights in February. On arrival we were told that you could only get wifi in the lobby and there was no WiFi in the room. My wife needed WiFi in the room to be able to work. Hotel staff tried to get us WiFi access but alas it could not be done. There was only us and another couple of people staying at the hotel but we given a small room overlooking the car park. We complained and were given a lovely room overlooking the river Sai. Ate in the restaurant and the food was good and we were served by a very polite waiter who attended to our every need. Due to the lack of WiFi we had to check out after 1 night which was disappointing. Sorry but we will not be coming back.

Das St. Regis ist ein sehr schönes Hotel im aktuellen Wandel. Die Location ist einzigartig und die Infrastruktur sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und das Housekeeping gut. Das Personal ist freundlich macht aber einen nicht koordinierten Eindruck. Es gibt sehr gute Mitarbeiter wie z.B. Salim am Pool/ Strand - er geht die Extrameile für den Kunden und es ist ihm nichts zu viel Aufwand. Er hat uns noch Drinks und Snacks spät am Strand organisier obwohl die Bar wegen einer Hochzeit geschlossen war. Der Göstemix mit Hochzeiten und dauernden Convetions ist heikel. Als normaler Badeferien Gast muss *** für die erwarteten Dienstleistungen „kämpfen“. Es hat zu viele Veranstaltungen im Normalbereich des Hotels. Der Pool war teilweise völlig überfüllt und es herrschte teilweise überall Dorffest Stimmung. Das Essen ist grundsätzlich sehr gut. Das Hauptrestaurant am Morgen ist wie eine Kantine - sehr überfüllt und laut. Das Hotel ist im Übergang zu einem St. Regis Resort. Es braucht noch Zeit und Training beim Personal. Nur mit Renovationen ist es nicht getan. Das Hotel hat viel Potential ein wahres High End Hotel mit entsprechendem angestimmten Service wie zb bei Oberoi Hotels zu werden … viel Erfolg bei der Umsetzung. Wir werden das Hotel wieder besuchen.

Location: 9/10 The location is great for South Goa. The beach is approximately a 150-200m walk away, depending on which wing your room is located in. Room: 8/10 I requested a quiet room and was allotted a spacious room in Wing D. The only downside was that it was a longer walk from the lobby and other facilities. Bathroom: 8/10 The bathroom was spotless and stocked with Dove toiletries. However, the water pressure could have been better. Dinner: 8/10 We opted for the buffet dinner. The spread was extensive, with delicious starters and desserts. Unfortunately, the main course did not live up to the same standard. The service was inconsistent as the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd. Breakfast: 8/10 Much like dinner, there was a good variety of options, though the service ranged from good to average. Transport: 8/10 The transportation services offered by the hotel were slightly more expensive than those available just outside the property, but they were hassle-free and convenient. Overall: A great stay at this beach resort. The beach was wonderful and welcoming. Enjoyed spending time in lavishly furnished spacious lobby. One suggestion would be to consider minimizing or eliminating the use of single-use plastic water bottles. I have stayed at hotels that serve water in glass bottles sealed with a small cap for customer assurance, and it’s a more sustainable option.

Dixita swami 8 reviews the place is very quite and lovely. Couple friendly beach resort in true sense. You feel a private beach facility. The surroundings of the resorts is between the nature. What a sunset ! the morning veiw and evening veiw has its own beauty. All the staff is very caring and truly supportive. All are so kind in their nature. The manager mr. Krishna sai is very good person. He takes care about all things. If you just enjoy to nature yourself and just beach the place is awesome and best. Breakfast, lunch, dinner having best and you feel home made tests. Thank you cola goa beach resort for making my wedding anniversary so memorable. Love it.
